The tables were not too close together. That way everybody was not bumping into everybody else, and the performers were able to reach every customer for tips. While I was waiting for the show, some of the songs played we're too loud. Thankfully there were few and far between. Note that the front doors are locked and barred. The actual entrance is off the alley in behind the building. Have fun. More...

In order to enter, you have to go to the alley in behind. The front entrance is locked and barred. When you enter there is a bar/ restaurant where you can sit and order drinks and meals. For the performance, V stage is in the back, which makes it in the front, haha. More...

This venue is breath taking. It's a place of romance and relaxation. The outdoor atmosphere is so intimate and the colors that change behind the stage ever so often gives the event such a seductive feeling. If there are any instruments being played on stage the lights gives them an extra sparkle. The sound that amplifies from the stage is awesome. It's not too loud  and overwhelming but it's loud enough to give you that concert effect. The seats are situated beautifully. In my opinion it allows attendees to get up if need be and/or take pictures/videos without really disturbing the view of others. I appreciate the cup holders that are situated on the back of the seat in front you. I love the fact that this venue has a high volume of employees to keep things running smoothly. They have parking staff that plays different parts. The cashier's (who have neat employee numbers on the uniforms) who's not stuck at a register, walks up to the vehicles to collect the funds for parking. You also have those who guide you to a parking space, those who drive golf carts to give the disable a ride to the box office, security officers that scan purses for harmful items, those at the box office who are organized and release tickets, greeters who conduct ticket scans, those who greet you off the elevator to guide you to your theater number, those who give out the program and ushers who walk you to your seat. This place treats their attendees royally. They made me feel good. More...

How have I lived in LA for so long without coming here? If you haven't been yet, find a show and go! Think of this spot as the Hollywood Bowl's more quiet sibling. It's literally across from the Bowl, an outdoor theatre carved into the hillside, and you can bring your own food and drinks (no hard alcohol). Everything is just smaller: smaller parking lot, smaller parking cost (only $12), and smaller venue (the theatre only holds 1200!). Seats throughout (no benches) that are pretty roomy. Everyone who worked here was very friendly and helpful. You should go!! More...

This place is incredible. We've seen several shows and each one has been fun and entertaining. The show takes place all throughout the restaurant so it really immerses the whole audience. The is a two item minimum (food and drink) which is fine because they are both really good as well. This is the perfect spot for an entertaining evening out. I suggest looking at their upcoming schedule and booking for a show that looks interesting. Just remember these are fun parodies so don't expect serious renditions of whatever you see. More...

The Ford Theatres has all of the charm of the Hollywood bowl in a delightfully more intimate space. Sitting on the other side of the 101 freeway, pretty much across from the Hollywood Bowl, it is like the Ford is the little sister. But she stands tall in her own right, with 5 different floors (restrooms are on the 4th floor), and a restaurant at the top floor. (I personally did not check out the restaurant during my visit, but will have to next time.)The amphitheater space is set up so that every seat has a good view of the stage. The stage background has a lovely view of some natural landscaping with colored lights bringing everything alive. Acoustics are great, as well.Stacked parking on-site seems like a hassle, so I would say ride share, metro-ing and shuttling, or off-site parking and shuttling in are the way to go.Don't hesitate to grab tickets for the next event you're interested in at the Ford Theatres. I got them on the center row, section V. At first I thought they were going to be mediocre seats because they're almost at the last section of the row but I was completely happy with them. I was able to see the entire stage! Also, I opted to take the shuttle from City Walk Metro Station to avoid the parking issue at the theater. So glad I did. My husband had foot surgery 6 days ago and was in a cast and on crutches but we couldn't miss the Greta Van Fleet show tonight so we went. First, when we parked in the stacked parking and got out, the parking attendant asked us to get back in our car and helped us park in the very front for easier ADA access. There are a ridiculous amount of stairs just to enter however, right away we were directed to the ramp and the elevator. We got off the elevator to find the line to sit going all the way back down the stairs. A gentleman in a Securitas outfit stood next to my husband and my husband asked, so do I now have to go back down the stairs to wait in line? He said unfortunately yes. Then a Ford staff member named Daisy took care of us all the way. She let us in before anyone else so that we could find a seat without having to wait in line on the stairs. We ended up in the front row for my sons first concert. After the show, Daisy found us and helped us get to the ADA cart area so that my husband could ride down the hill back to our car. Thank you Ford for having the absolute friendliest and helpful staff and for giving my family an exceptional experience! More...

SoCal weather being mostly sunny, I guess I took a turn for some heat exhaustion (not quite heat stroke). I was fine from the beginning of the performance (Kayamanan ng Lahi) then started feeling a woozy and close to fainting, with tremors and all, just toward the end. Very quickly ANIKA came up to our area and asked if I might need assistance. Lickety split, BILLY came with a wheelchair.
