My name is Ross Cracknell, I have over 10 years experience in the Health & Fitness Industry. Over that time I have gained vast knowledge on how to improve and advance clients well-being through exercise and nutritional advice.

I specialise in Fat Loss… Most of my career as been spent working with people who want fast and transforming results (ideally within 12 weeks), either for holidays, weddings or just to improve the way they look and feel.

Q&As

I work closely with my clients in all aspects that relate to their health & fitness goals. I start off by getting the client to go through an initial body composition test, such as weight, body fat, hydration, BMI etc. By collecting this information I can then put together a specific training and nutritional plan. I then look at the clients flexibility/mobility to see if there is any areas or weakness/tightness that will need addressing as we progress with the training journey. In terms of training I use my own dedicated exercise app which is available on all mobile/tablets. Through this I can send personalised exercise programmes that can be completed anywhere and feature animated video demonstrations so you will never forget how to do a certain exercise again. I am always on hand to support and guide my clients with whatever issues they may come across.

Diet/Training/Recovery - You need all three elements to achieve the DREAM outcome. You can train like a machine but if you are not eating the correct foods, at the right times then you will not reach your full potential. By making sure you are getting adequate rest will ensure you are fully fit to compete your training to the best of your ability. By stretching/Foam Rolling this will also lead to greater range of motion and help with injury prevention.

Seeing clients achieve their results… Nothing beats seeing your client losing body fat and starting to see abs appear, for some they may never have seen there abs before and you can see their joy. I also work with Sport Professionals so seeing them improve and getting better results helps give me the drive to keep improving too.

I worked for a mainstream health club for many years, But I didn't like the structure of the pricing plan they had in place. It put a lot of people off using a personal trainer, they were paying high membership and then had to pay even higher training prices. Also planning a session and then at the last minute having to change it all because the gym became suddenly busy is a real pain and effects clients overall results. So I decided to open my own dedicated gym that has NO members so we have full use of the equipment all the time, plus the client only pays for what they want…. To be Coached.

I am passionate about what I do… I strive to help my clients achieve their potential. I am constantly studying to make sure I am up to date with all the current aspects of the health and fitness sector. I understand that every person that walks into my gym is different and that there is no copy and paste exercise programme that works for everyone. Each session had to be challenging and progressive to make sure we stay on track. I will support anyone when it comes to training, food ideas, ways to improve lifestyle but what I have to stress is this is a 2 way street, I don't possess a magic wand that will transform you overnight. Getting the results you require will be difficult but as long as you are up for the challenge and your honest we will get there together.
