We took my nan and grandad to Richfields today as a special birthday treat for my grandad who is normally house bound. With 2 babies, 2 toddlers, a double buggy and a wheelchair in tow, we took over a little bit, but the staff couldn’t have been more lovely and welcoming. Had a lovely brunch there with my daughter on Saturday, food was fantastic and it was a nice chilled atmosphere inside. My daughter had American pancakes with streaky bacon and Syrup, I tried the 'Forrester' which was eggs Benedict with black pudding then on the side was mushrooms and diced fried potato. Would recommend this for fellow vegans but limited choice of meals though my choice was very nice. However, I was disappointed to see soya milk had an additional charge which meant I didn't have a cappuccino which I wanted as I refuse to pay extra for being a vegan. What a great spot for a delicious Reading breakfast any time of day with super friendly staff. Our food was made fresh, with care.
