I helped plan my cousin's wedding and she hired Rice Events to DJ both the ceremony and reception. From the beginning, Anthony was easy going and had some great advice on keeping the flow of the day moving well. He arrived ahead of schedule on wedding day and worked well with the other vendors. I really liked how he coached the people making speeches ahead of time so they knew how to use the microphone. The best part was the PARTY! So much great music and super awesome dance lighting! Most everyone stayed till the very end and we sent off the happy couple with a "love circle", which was pretty special! IF I ever get married, I will definitely hire Anthony! But for now, I recommend him highly!! More...

My company hired Rice Events to DJ our company party and also do a photo booth. Everyone had so much fun and Anthony spontaneously let us do some karaoke just for the fun of it! The photo booth had tons of cool props and the attendant was, well...very attentive! I can't wait for next year! More...

Awesome DJ! We used Rice Events for our wedding and it was an absolute blast! He did a great job getting the entire reception involved and the dance floor was packed the whole time. By the end of the night we had received multiple compliments on how great our DJ was and everyone had a ton of fun. He was very open to any suggestions we had and was more than happy to oblige any requests that we had, while adding his own suggestions for anything we weren't sure of. We would definitely recommend him for anyone out there that needs a DJ! More...

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Pure and simple...play to the crowd and go with the flow. Over the years, you get a sense of what the crowd wants to hear! I listen!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style changes depending on the event I am doing. Generally I would describe myself as upbeat, fun, professional, and as interactive as you want me to be. I have an extensive library of music and I play what you want to hear. I almost always take requests, but respect the appropriateness for the audience and encourage "Do not play" lists from clients, as well. My school events are squeaky clean and I take pride in that.
What do you love most about your job?
I love music of most every genre, so that's a start. But what I really love is being in the moment and seeing the smiles and interactions that happen when you play great music.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose a DJ with experience, professional and dependable equipment, positive attitude, and a willingness to listen to what you are looking for in your event. Whether it be casual or elegant, wild and crazy or more refined, the DJ is largely the person that is responsible for setting the tone and carrying it through to the end. That is what I do!
