What do you love most about your job?
I have 30 years specialist FM experience in private and public sectors, focusing on Relocations, Fit out, Change Management and Ethical Disposal with a 100% track record.
I Love being able to foresee the pitfalls and risks before they become major issues and help customers.
What inspired you to start your own business?
RHT Group was a client of mine for about 20 years and following 3 years running my own relocation consultancy and 3 years in a large local authority I came on board with RHT to promote what they do in the UK.

Commercial Relocation
Our approach to commercial moving is to work with and become part of your team. Preparation Planning and Flexibility are key words. Working closely with you to understand the key drivers for your move, your areas of concern and critical deadlines are all part of the preparation. Once we understand all the elements we can work with you to prepare a relocation plan, this plots the mile stones throughout the project which allows us to prepare a resource and activity schedule and cost plan.
Our service incorporates; Move Management, Space Planning, Telephony, Information Technology, Furniture and Ancillary Equipment.
Ethical Disposal
Ethical disposal of excess and redundant workplace furniture and equipment has become a sizable problem for many larger businesses and local authorities.
RHT can provide an ethical disposal service that meets the highest standards in environmental sustainability in the form of re-use by charitable organisations or re-cycling by specialists companies.
The concept behind the reuse and recycle disposal process is based on a model by RHT. This model provides a structured process for the management of furniture and equipment disposal to control each part of the process and ensure a high level of reuse can be achieved.
At the end of a reuse and recycle project RHT can provide a detailed report including the number of items in the programme, the percentage of re-use or re-cycle, where re-used product is delivered and the breakdown by weight of raw materials sent for re-cycling to meet ISO1401 requirements.
Storage
Each RHT location has regional storage facilities from which we can offer open floor storage and pallet racked storage. We also offer containerised storage off site and in addition we can offer document storage facilities.
As part of our storage service we offer a managed storage facility which includes stock control and on receipt of clients goods we will create a detailed stock record in our internal database which can be issued to clients in an Excel format.
Office Installation
RHT provides trained operatives to complete the installation of office furniture for manufacturers and dealers throughout the UK and Europe.
Each operative is trained in basic installation procedures before completing specific product training courses offered by manufacturers.
Each operative is employed under strict government guidelines and are monitored by our Service Delivery Manager to ensure professional levels of assembly, site conduct and that service levels are maintained.
