Richard is absolutely amazing at what he does! My partner and myself had our engagement shoot in London and our Wedding in Bournemouth with him and we have never smiled or laughed so much whilst taking photos! I never used to like having photos of me taken and always felt so uncomfortable, this was until Richard came along and made me feel so at ease and so comfortable having my photos taken. He has a lovely laid back, natural, and captured in the moment style and this is so perfect, in my eyes every moment should be captured as it happens and Richard has done exactly that. We have had a sneak peek at some of our wedding photos and we have cried happy tears as they are absolutely stunning! The same with our Engagement photos, they were absolutely gorgeous, natural and more than what we could wish for. We were recommended Richard by our venue stylists and from our very first meeting with him we knew we had found our photographer for our big day he instantly made us both feel relaxed around him we met Richard for our pre wedding shoot and he could see that we were both well out of our comfort zone but he kept talking us though it and managed to capture some amazing pictures. On our big day Richard arrived at the time he had agreed and came and made a point of coming to see both of us in different parts of the hotel as the day went on he found time to capture shots of everyone and all of our guest have since said what a friendly and genuine guy richard was and we could not agree more it was more like having a friend then a photographer after the big day Richard posted a few previews of our wedding photos and it just made us more excited to see them all and when we got the email from Richard to say they were ready to view we were straight on to look and wow is all we could say better then we ever could imagine and brought back so many happy memories and see things we had actually missed on the day we have probably looked back over them everyday since we’ve had them We could not recommended Richard highly enough More...

Richard was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We really wanted a photographer who would get some candid shots of our day, as we're not a big fan of staged photos. We got some planned shots but most of my fave photos are the ones people didn't know were being taken. He was perfect and really mingled with the guests but didn't make anyone feel uncomfortable. We had so many compliments on his style of working, many wondered if he was a friend doing us a favour due to how relaxed he was! He's a man of many talents, including helping do up the corset of my dress and fixing my mum's hair! We even got about 20 photo's back the next day, ideal if the wedding blues are starting to hit! Richard was the absolute best photographer for our wedding! He captured the best moments which was brilliant because the groom doesn't like photos! Even though we were a small wedding we had a bizarrely long list of photo combinations the family wanted and Richard smashed the out like a pro and nobody had to miss out on canapés (apart from me, the bride, but that's because I had to be in most of the photos, plus didn't want to spill on my dress) Great job and would 100% recommend Richard! If you are looking for not only an awesome photographer, but for someone who will become a friend too, then RGW is your guy! Richard has been amazing since the day we first met him, he's made us feel relaxed and comfortable infront of a camera and has some truly stunning work. From day 1 we really felt Richard wanted to get to know us and our venue so that he could capture the day perfectly, and boy did he do just that! Throughout the year and 4months we have been in touch with Richard he has been incredibly helpful, he's always answered our queries promptly and nothing is ever too much trouble, even meeting for a cheeky gin or a coffee to discuss details when we were in the area!! When we were searching for suppliers in the local area (we actually live 80miles away!) Richard hooked us up with his contacts who were also incredible on the day. During the wedding day itself, we felt like Richard was one of the guests. He was unobtrusive, mingled with our family and friends (who all commented on what a lovely guy he is!) and even busted a few moves on the dance floor with us and took some selfies! Richards photos are incredible and you can tell that so much love, care and attention has gone into the editing, in fact in to every meeting from our initial contact all the way through to the exciting surprises after the big day! We were absolutely over the moon, as Richards style was perfect for us, and for the style of our wedding too.Richard wasn't just my photographer, he became a friend. He arrived while we were getting ready, and braved the craze of my sister's (he deserves a medal for that)He managed to capture them, and their cheeky side, alongside all different important features of where I got ready. He rode with us in the limo, helping keep us calm, snapping away, capturing some natural pics. During the ceremony, he caught a variety of gorgeous pictures!We hired a coach for everyone to get to the reception, Richard still managed to capture some gorgeous candid photos, without everyone realising. During the reception the same. Most importantly.. he mingled with family, he became part of our day as more than just a photographer, everybody loved him, and are still singing his praises too! Once he had finished, we showed our appreciation by giving him lots to drink. He stayed with us for a while after, after me telling him to put his camera down. He laughed, joked, and drank with us (sorry again for the slight hangover), most importantly he made memories with us, after capturing them all for us.I love my photos, double chins and all, I will truly treasure them forever. So this review has been a long time coming, we have loved working with Richard and it feels like we are reviewing a friend. When I first found Richard and his work I was so excited for him to work his magic and capture our special day. His style is relaxed yet personal, he really captured our day perfectly.Our pre-wedding shoot really helped us both become more relaxed in front of the camera as we are reluctant subjects. We would definitely recommend doing this. We used some of the pictures for our wedding day, incorporating them into the plan for the day and our seating plan, the guests loved it.On our wedding day, we are so glad Richard was there, he just fitted in so well with all the family and the guests loved him. I was luckily enough to be given a free photo shoot after my sister in law won the competition and kindly gave me the shoot! After some discussion we decided to do the photo shoot in my garden as I was pregnant & not a fan of getting my bump out in public! Richard took some wonderful natural photos of my children running around and playing. As well as my bump! Absolutely blown away with our photos

I would highly recommend Richard to anyone looking for a photographer.

This is the second shoot we have had with Richard, both times he has funny engaged with my daughter age 2 at our last shoot, and almost 4 at this shoot.

By the end of it she didn’t want to leave.

Me and Dave wanted to so a big thank you to Richard for everything he did on our wedding day back in November! Not only did he put me at ease on the morning of the wedding by helping with the little things like helping to do up my shoes up and opening the door to the endless knocks. But he was so welcoming and inviting to our family and friends.. Throughout the day we heard many compliments from our guests on how approachable and friendly Richard was! The service and photographs Richard provided us with were outstanding and we will highly recommend him! All i can say is just recieved our engagement photo shoot, and the photos are breath taking and beautiful. Thank you Richard. I can't wait untill august!! We cannot recommend RGW Photos highly enough. He has done a brilliant job of capturing our special day. I picked him originally because his prices were much lower than other wedding photographers and we were on a tight budget, but he is so much more than just good value!
