What do you love most about your job?
I've never known anything else! I started when I was 16 and never looked back. Of course, having started at the bottom and worked my way up in the cleaning industry I know all the tricks of the trade that I now share with our amazing workforce.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Quite simply - I married a Leicester girl! I used to work for the biggest cleaning company in the UK and I had a 10th floor office in Canary Wharf. Moving to Leicester gave me an opportunity to see if I could apply a new way of cleaning through innovative techniques and empowering the cleaning staff to drive standards and finding ways to do things better.
Time has shown that the model we chose is exactly what our customers need and actually now expect.
Why should our clients choose you?
We win work based predominantly on referrals. I can't ask for a better way to grow the business. We calculate our prices based on BICSc working speeds so we know to the second how long it takes to clean any given area. This is a very powerful tool as it gives huge flexibility to our clients.
Our ethos can be summed up like this: We cannot afford to fail. Our reputation is everything to us. We are only as good as our last clean.
