Was in the area yesterday on business with my sister and son wanted some authentic Jamaican cuisine before heading back to the Jersey shore Stopped in and I'm am so glad we did. We were greeted with a warm smile from the owner who took our orders which included some of their homemade drinks!We ordered stew chicken, curry goat, jerk chicken and oxtails. Each dish came with a healthy serving of baked mac, a baked sweet potato, Jamaican rice and peas, cabbage and a tasty fresh tropical diced salad which consisted of pineapples, mango, cucumbers and red cabbage. I got the oxtails with rice and beans, and cabbage. The oxtails were very tender, however, needs more seasoning. Rice and beans were good and not dry like most restaurants. Also, because the platter itself is already on the messy side in terms of take home containers, they need to invest in actual containers and not plates. Overall, the food was good and with just little changes like that, it can be the best Caribbean restaurant in Trenton. I think I will give them another shot. Not sure how new this place is. More...

Mr. Dapper is a chef no doubt about it. The other Jamaican restaurants I have been to are ok.  But Mr. Dapper knows how to bring the tast out of his food.
