My name is Georgina and I am an experienced and qualified psychotherapist and counsellor. At the heart of my work is the relationship that I build with you. I work with adults and young people and although I work with people that are struggling across a number of different areas, I specialise in supporting people affected by bereavement, loss, grief, anxiety, and childhood trauma.

What do you love most about your job?
I believe that counselling can make a real difference, and working with the right therapist can offer the opportunity for improved well-being and growth. If you have found your way here, you are already on your way to finding additional support. You may be struggling to manage emotions or feel emotionally numb, experiencing unpredictable anxiety, or overwhelming feelings of emptiness and a deep sense of loneliness. I feel honoured to work with the people I do. Working along side people as they grow , develop and make meaningful changes to their lives is wonderful.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been through my own therapeutic journey. Therapy provided me with a safe and confidential place to develop my self-awareness and self-esteem to make the changes I needed to. Building positive relationships and experiencing self-compassion and self-care brought a different dimension to my life. To be apart of this and support people in a way that I experienced has been the driving force behind Resolute Psychology & Counselling.

We can work for a few sessions or over a longer period. The length of therapy will depend on your needs.
