I purchased my cupping Groupon and made my way over to relax holistic in the Marina. I was having some terrible pain in my neck and shoulder area. After I met with the acupuncturist, she explained to me that we wouldn't be doing cupping today and we would be doing acupuncture. I'm not sure why that is given that I purchased a cupping Groupon. I could have gone anywhere else for acupuncture. Anyway, the acupuncturist  has a very nice manner and makes you feel very at ease and relaxed. I did feel better after I left but by the next day I was in pain again. That's why I requested the cupping in the first place. Now I'm going to have to pay to get some cupping done elsewhere. I swear by this place and I swear by Hugh! It's honestly the best place for everything. Well, I haven't used the chiropractor BUT I broke my rib heli skiing 2 years ago and instead of healing in 6 months, it healed in 3 months thanks to the amazing, magical work he does with acupuncture, raiki, acupressure, cupping etc. .. Whether I go for something physical like tummy aches/problems, migraines, severe PMS (sorry but it's true and should be mentioned) or whether its psychological: stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, lack of energy, lack of motivation etc.. he can literally change that. Of course, each individual's body reacts differently to certain things but in my experience, after going through a week and a half of all the psychological problems mentioned above and just going through a dark time, in 1-1/2 session or almost 2 hours he managed to get rid of everything; repair my energy, my chakras, my tensions everywhere and the roller coaster of my emotions, my ying deficiency. Amazing  experience. I lift in my job everyday and I work out everyday so having a place to get rebalanced ingested is a must for me.  I had a great adjustment and massage. The office at Relax Holistic has a great energy to it.  All the staff is great. The place is  very clean. In one visit, Dr. Ted Abramson at Relax Holistic eased the horrendous lower back pain that had been plaguing me.  Even walking up and down stairs and sitting had been excrutiating. I was skeptical at first because I envisioned a medical practice environment.  The office feels more like an Asian massage facility.  However, my consultation with the chiropractor was comfortable and he actually made the experience feel professional in a pretty cramped space. Subsequent visits were great and the treatment I received from Dr. Szen relieved the intense pain I was experiencing. He really listens to your concerns and is very knowledgeable about Kinesiology. I feel like they are trying to establish a business in a previously owned massage space and that's great, but I was expecting a medical setting.  Nonetheless, I would recommend Relax Holistic to others.  Another perk is that they are in a MiniMall with a lot of other businesses, however, there is free underground parking and I always find a spot.  There is also 30min maximum parking on the street level parking lot.  This is for the Marina Del Rey office. I was pleased to find Relax holistic open on sunday. I was desperate for pain relief after a 15 hour flight. Office manager was kind enough to verify I had coverage with my insurance. I had been reading review of this guy Joshua Davis ,I could not believe, what he talking about.I have been going there for now almost 6 years,I referred 20 friends ,and they are amazed by People who work there,they are so helpful and kind and they will work with you and help you to pay bill with payment plan ,no interest ,in the case your insurance reject to pay for your visits . It is Obvious that some people does not know how the insurance works ,contract is between Patient and His Insurance, and we give authorisation to doctor office to bill insurance on our behalf.We have to make sure that our claims are paid by insurance . They never Billed anything that i did not approved, and I had a lot of visits at RELAX over 6 years , i was signing superbills every time while I was in the office receiving their services.So my signature is a prove I was in office for the services i received.I know some people have personal issues,they have zero understanding ad they have anger issues,and they take on others.That office is so Busy ,hard to find available appointment ,that just show How Great They Are ..... I liked the chiropractor Dr Clay. He was friendly and very thorough. I had an unpleasant experience with the first massage therapist and when I spoke to Dr. Clay about the situation, he was very supportive and understanding. I went in without an appointment and Kendra at the front desk was very sweet and helpful with getting me in. I have severe neck and head pain that causes for restless nights due to neck strain from 2 years ago. I saw Dr. Souren who was very knowledgeable and professional. I walked out with less neck and head pain. It was my first visit and I know it will take some time to feel 100% but I already can feel a difference and will definitely be coming back for follow up care. I was in so much pain that I would've paid the $100 but the groupon deal for new patients brought it down to $30 which I think is such a cheap price for such great care that I received. I have been coming here for a few years now. Very regularly. 1 x a week! I love it! I alternate my treatments with Acupuncture and with the Chiropractor. I have had a chronic neck condition for seven years. With consistent pain, I finally got to a breaking point and popped by this location because it is in my neighborhood. I've been going twice weekly ever since.Even though they are considered out of network for my insurance (United Healthcare), they were willing to accept the rate that my out-of-network coverage offered. They have made it SO easy to work with my insurance and get multiple visits of both chiropractic and therapeutic massage covered with a reduced rate. Do you have any health issues? Go see Dr Kim for the best Accupunture. As with any trade you will have those that are great and those that are just mediocre. I have been getting accupuncture for many years now and I have seen many acupuncturists and I can say without a doubt Dr Kim is at the top of the list for best acupuncturists.
