What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Camaraderie! It's important for me to take time to meet clients and get to know them a little before we plan and shoot your images. Having a great time while having your portraits taken is possible! And it absolutely shows in the images I create!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When, where, who and why!? When are you looking to have a session, and do you have a location in mind? I primarily shoot on location for families and I have a portable studio for newborns in the home. Who would you like to be photographed with? Generational images are absolutely priceless!!! Why are you having images taken now? Celebrating a new baby? Lively children? How are you going to preserve these memories and images in your home? I offer stunning folio boxes, custom albums, and framed enlargements for the wall.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people and watching their families grow! By the end of our sessions, clients feel more like old friends and capturing images that they'll treasure is so rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own daughter shows me every day that dreams really do come true!
