Cat will get your tongue if you don't try this lovely, dependable service. I was gone for an entire month and my senior cats were surprisingly blasé on my return cause they had it so gooooood! I wouldn't trust my pup with anyone else! John has taken excellent care of our dog both on walks and for extending sitting stays. It's obvious how much he cares for animals and the level of care is unparalleled. I tried a lot of other dog walking/sitting services, but it was only until we found Rawhide/Catnip that we could finally relax knowing our dog was in good hands! More...

It took me a long time to choose a sitter for a two week trip last fall, and I'm so glad I chose Rawhide & Catnip. My friend checks on my two cats for short trips, but that wasn't an option for such a long period of time. Needless to say, I was nervous to entrust my cats' care to a stranger. However, after one short home visit, Irma no longer seemed like a stranger. She could not be any nicer, and I felt so secure leaving my pets in her care. She sent me text and photo updates while I was away, and assured me my keys would not be labeled with my name or address while being stored for future visits. On top of everything, they're very affordable for LA. Irma and the rest of the team will be my go-to for any future catsitting needs, and I'd recommend them to anyone in the area. More...

I've used Rawhide and Catnip for a few years now and have been very happy with their service. Arik and Irma have done a great job taking care of my pets. One of the things I appreciate about them is that I know the people who are caring for my pets. Some other companies just send random strangers (sometimes more than one) who've never met me or my animals often with disastrous results (see: Attack Cat). Both sitters took the time to meet me and my animals and get to know them and their routine. It's nice to know when I travel someone I trust is looking after my kids when I'm gone. More...

We used Rawhide & Catnip for the first time this summer. The service was stellar! We were leaving for a couple of months so we needed a service that could handle that time commitment. Rawhide came out to our house before we left; the rep. (Emily) wrote up a sheet of care instructions and then emailed it to me so I could review to make sure we got everything we wanted on there - medications, feeding schedule etc. Arik took care of our animals while we were away and we came back to relaxed and happy furry ones. They were so relaxed that they didn't even seem to know that we'd been gone. After all of those nights worrying if they missed me? Little furry bastards were having a great time with Arik! How do I know this? Arik emailed me every time he visited and sent photos of our animals lolling about being waited on! Arik's service was exemplary. They are always kind and accommodating and they will, if you request, text you to let you know how your pet is doing while you're gone. Sometimes with pics!
