Left in worse state. Couldn’t complete job advised a tanker was required at cost of £400-500. Called another firm young enthusiastic man appeared and cleared problem in under a hour for £150.

Highly recommend Quick Drain Clear. We are having major issues in our ground floor retail premises in Duke Street Glasgow and had to have drains unblocked. Quick Drain response time is excellent and unfortunately we had to use the 14 day warranty they gave us as the blockage came back in 5 days. The same chap came back and spent a relentless 2 hours trying to locate the blocked drain where many drains from tenements above go in to but it appeared the blockage is further underground from our building. He used CCTV, jet and chain and did everything possible but the blockage came back in another 5 days. It's a problem many ground floor businesses have experienced in Duke St due to very old Victorian drains and many people using them (who put all sorts down them!) Turned up when they said they would. Worked diligently with jet, root cutter, and camera, and cleared our private street surface water drain. Phoned quick drain clear at 4pm and they told me exactly what the prices would be for depending on which machines would be needed. Had a great guy out by 6pm who managed to completely clear the blockage and even showed me with a camera that it was all unblocked. Super fast response time, and reasonable prices. Had a problem with my drains. They came out quickly but were ouable to fix the problem. Said they thought the problem was one for Scottish Water. Charged me £150 and said they would contact Scottish Water. I didnt hear from Scotish Water so I contacted them myself. Turns out that Quick Drain Clear had not contacted them as promised. My advice to anyone who has a drain problem is to contact Scottish Water First and not trust Quick Drain Clear. More...

Our property had a number of gutters/downpipes blocked by autumnal leaves. Despite being initially quoted an exorbitant figure, we negotiated a price with QuickDrainClear to clear all the drains. Their worker, Willie Hamilton, also confirmed a 90 day warranty for the work. Out of professional respect, we did not stand over him whilst clearing the drains, which it transpired he did not complete. When we phoned later to claim under the ‘warranty’, and after leaving several messages, we were told - by the very same worker - we should have checked at the time whether he had completed clearance of ALL the drains! To us, it was irrelevant whether he had been supervised - he had agreed a price to clear all the drains, they had received payment promptly and we were within the 90 day period. We attempted to reason with him that QuickDrainClear would surely want to take pride in completing all its work and that maintaining the perception of a professional service would have greater value than the marginal cost of revisiting the site to finish the job, but he refused to attend without additional payment. Hence, it's difficult to write anything positive about a drain clearing service which proved incapable of completing what should have been a straightforward task and wanted additional payment for a worker to return and maybe do the job properly second time around whilst offering a worthless guarantee. Our analogous summary: if you take your car to a garage and pay them to re-inflate all the tyres, you presume they won't hand it back with a flat and certainly you expect them to complete the task without further charge! Had a big job carried out by these lads-- Installed a 20m Land drain and soil pipe and all other services required for a bungalow. Exceptionally hard working, professional and even helped do additional work at no extra cost. Would recommend to anyone. Shame that's my drainage work finished in a way because I would like to find these lads more work- Beat the competitions prices by THOUSANDS! More...
