This review has been long over do. I hired Quantum Prod for my wedding back in November 2017 for a DJ and photobooth service. They were amazing! Tons of amazing props for the photobooth, and the attendants were so nice with the kids. I also hired them for a company holiday party in January 2019. Again they did not disappoint. Quantum Party Productions did the lighting and drapes for my wedding this past September 2018. Jason and his team did an amazing job! He was probably the most responsive vendor out of all my wedding vendors. I reached out to him about a year before my wedding and he was very friendly and helpful with every detail along the way. Any changes or things I wanted added on, he replied and updated everything quickly! I had a vision and he made it happen. My wedding was held at the Bently Reserve in SF. I wanted my ceremony and reception to look like two completely different rooms and they made it happen! My drapes and all the lighting were set up beautifully! I had everything from uplights, pinspots, customized gobos, the ceiling gobos, and spotlights. He even changed the colors of my lighting when it was time for my guests to dance. So awesome! I recently got married at the Brazilian Room and hired QPP for market lighting and a few rentals, including a sound system, chiavari chairs for our ceremony, and corn hole. Working with QPP and Jason was so easy. Jason was always quick to email me back whenever I had questions, needed to rent additional items, or wanted to confirm timing. On the day of our wedding, the team showed up right on time to set everything up and were on time at the end of the night to take everything down--totally professional. The market lighting was absolutely beautiful both inside and outside, and the outside lighting allowed our guests to enjoy their drinks on the patio late into the evening. I seriously would not have wanted to have a wedding at the Brazilian Room without that lighting! Honestly, I have only one regret, which is that we didn't work with one of the caterers that Jason recommended when we first met him at the BR wedding fair--I should have listened to him! I had the opportunity to work with Jason as the DJ for my wedding. His DJ skills were exceptional. There were no awkward silence in between songs as he transitioned them ever so smoothly. He worked so well with my coordinator and made sure the songs I requested were played at the exact times I needed them. It was just so perfect! He was very professional. Prior to the wedding day I exchanged multiple emails concerning the DJ service as well as rentals (Yes, he offers equipment rentals, drapery, photobooth, etc) yet he was so patient with all the questions I had. Jason Shires is the man! Seriously, in 2006 my best friend hired him as a DJ for her wedding. In 2011 I hired him as a DJ in my wedding and just a couple weeks ago in 2018 my sister hired him as a DJ in her wedding. I will recommend him to anyone! He keeps the crowd moving! He really sets the tone for the wedding! His timelines run smoothly. He is just an all around amazing DJ! (Or is it MC-emcee?) lol whatever- he's really good! Quantum Party Productions was sub-contracted by Carrie Dove Catering to do all the lighting and various rentals for our recent wedding at the Brazilian Room. We were blown away by how Quantum Party was able to transform the Brazilian room into the perfect romantic vision we had! The Brazilian Room is a great venue, but can feel a bit dated, especially with some of the wood paneling. We were going for a very romantic, twinkling-light feel and Quantum Party really delivered. From the moment I walked into the building I was surprised by how beautiful everything looked. We had string-lights along the path up to the building. Through the main door was a beautiful standing curtain with dangling lights behind, which had a truly romantic feel and made a perfect back-drop for our photo-booth later that night. On the patio we had market lights and lounge furniture rentals that perfectly matched our theme. Inside, the main room was transformed with draping from the beams along with strung lights. Surrounding the room were up-lights that sealed the whole look. I just can't express how happy I was with how it all turned out. Really beautiful.As for the service, everything was great. Quantum Party worked with us to make our vision happen. Some of our lighting requests were uncommon and not typical for the venue, but this didn't stop Quantum Party. They worked seamlessly with our caterer to figure out the details. On the day-of, I don't know how they did it, but everything was setup within 2 hours without a hitch. Quantum Party Productions was responsible for the beautiful lighting and drapery at our wedding. They were sub-contracted by Carrie Dove and they pulled the entire wedding's vision together. I did not have the pleasure of speaking with them, but they proved themselves with their final product. If you look at the images, you can see the way they did our wedding lighting at the Brazilian Room. As the bride, my vision was to make the Brazilian Room as romantic as possible. My wife and I recently got married at The Brazilian Room in Berkeley, CA. We asked Quantum to both DJ (which was done by Jason Shires) as well as bring a day of coordinator (which was done by Jason's wife, Kit). They both performed amazingly well. I will say that communication early on was a bit dodgy, but I imagine they are so busy. We did end up coordinating well enough through email and phone calls. Jason was very receptive and calming. He was open to many music suggestions and was really easy to work with. Kit was the same. We set up a detailed schedule of what was going to happen on the big day and as a result, everything went off without incident. Kit was super easy to work with. We did not have to worry about anything. She pretty much told everyone what to do and where to stand/go/say etc. Both of them were awesome to work with. We got a great deal for photobooth and DJ and probably would have gone with him for lighting as well, but our venue (Palm Event Center) only allowed preferred vendors. Jason and his wife ended up being our photobooth attendants and they were such a blast to work with! They really know how to go with the flow and get people excited. We got so many compliments on how great the photobooth props were and how fun they made taking pictures (especially from all the older guests that were harder to entertain). They even came with their own materials to make a photo album for us that everyone signed! Jason even came out and rapped to a song on the dance floor and just got everyone hyped up. Im so glad we picked Quantum for our wedding last summer. Jason was the easiest vendor to work with. He was very accommodating and prices were very competitive (I did a lot of research). John, our DJ, was also great. He was such a good MC and kept the party moving. We gave him a detailed schedule and he followed it perfectly: he stuck to the schedule, had the music choices down, and made the announcements better than I could have asked for. Finally, the photo booth folks were super friendly, had a great booth and props, and even gave us a photo album to take home with copies of the photos the same night. LOOK NO FURTHER. Quantum Party Productions is a fantastic company to work with if you're looking for DJ or lighting services for a wedding. My husband and I hired QPP to DJ/MC and provide lighting for our wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley this past May and they did an excellent job. The owner of the company, Jason, ended up DJ-ing our wedding himself and he was so well organized leading up to and during the event, kept us on time, worked with our officiant to determine the best approach/use of mics and made sure our parents, best man, and M.O.H. knew exactly when to give their speeches and helped with transition. A couple weeks before the wedding, Jason scheduled a call with me to run through our playlists (shared via Spotify) and make sure he knew every special song we wanted played (ceremony / first dance / parents dance / etc.) I would HIGHLY recommend QPP for any wedding - they rock! I used Quantum Party Productions for my wedding at the Brazil Room this past March 2018. We went with Jason as our DJ, and it was very worth it. Going to other weddings, I didn't think I'd notice when a DJ was bad (e.g. poor transitions, etc), but I did at a previous wedding I attended, so we wanted a quality DJ. It was great, I never once had to think about music as Jason reads the crowd, and everyone said they had a great time. Jason was great about providing information beforehand and giving us background into his services, he assisted with getting people to where they had to be, speeches, and introductions. He gives you a list of songs to pick out and recommendations, which was very helpful for me. Very long overdue review... Jason was the DJ for our wedding reception at the Brazil Room in Tilden Park. He played every single song we requested and was a great MC for the event. Bonus points... he was able take control of the room and keep everyone calm when an elderly relative suffered a stroke towards the end of the evening (ambulance, paramedics, etc thank goodness everything turned out ok!).  And Jason was willing to extend the event at no charge so that we could have our last dance and end the evening on a positive note. We had an excellent experience working with Jason at Quantum Party Productions! We were referred to Jason's company and reached out to him, to which he promptly responded back. Jason provided us with a personal touch, taking the time to get to know us in person and handling all of our questions and requests himself. We went thoroughly over the logistics of our wedding, and walked us through what types of services his company offered, and even giving us a demonstration of the dj equipment. By the end of the meeting, we were very comfortable and so decided to go with his company.We cannot say enough of how Jason was so personable, professional and accommodating. He even provided us with samples of musics, along with a list of different songs and artists across various genres of music to help us choose the right songs for each event. We greatly appreciated him providing his recommendations as well and his validation of our song choices in that they would work within each of our events. With 3 days to the wedding, we ended up having to change the ceremony from outdoors to indoors, and Jason was once again very flexible and accommodating and very promptly responded back to us which is exactly what you want when you're trying to deal with big last minute changes 3 days before the wedding. It's not just dj service that his company provides; they are like a one-stop shop, and were able to provide us with lighting, dance floor and chair rentals. It made it super convenient to get all this through one company versus working with multiple vendors. Jason went above and beyond by drawing up diagrams on how to our outdoor reception lighting would look like over the guest tables, etc. On top of all that, Jason coordinated with the our venue himself, relieving us of the stresses of being the middleman. He confidently assured us that he could handle it and ended up being true to his word. He was there personally to make sure his crew set up to our vision and checked in on us towards the end of the night to make sure all was going well. We used Quantum Party Productions (Jason) for our wedding at the SF Ritz Carlton and were SO HAPPY with the result. They crushed it. The executive summary is: super easy to work with, great ideas for the flow of the wedding, amazing photobooth, and did an amazing job keeping the trains running on time through the reception.

First, we met Jason at his office in Fidi, which was very convenient. He had a binder that made many of our reception choices easy. Being certified wedding planners, he also had many ideas for how to sequence out the reception, suggestions for the various dances, etc. He made us feel very confident that the reception would go off without a hitch.

Our photobooth vendor completely flaked a week before the wedding (something that is a serious problem with small vendors of weddings). Luckily, Jason was right there. The photobooth props were the best I've ever seen at a wedding and the photobooth attendant was simply incredible. He was so helpful in suggesting props, getting people fired up, and keeping everything moving. I don’t think I've ever been to a wedding where the photobooth guy didn't mail it in, but the attendant Jason had was amazing.

Finally, Jason on the wedding day was awesome. Without giving him individual song recommendations, he played music that had all our guests (including the older people) up and dancing literally all night. He was also amazing at keeping our timeline moving, reminding us to cut the cake, coordinating the light levels in the room. Jason was the DJ at my wedding last month, and he was fantastic! He was also so easy to work with in the months leading up to the wedding.
