The Veterinary Center at Pups at Play is excellent. Dr. Weiner is the absolute best. He and his staff are caring and helpful. He is honest and fair and will look for ways to save you money when possible. If you call the office with a question, he will often personally call you back with an answer. Pups at Play Veterinary Center is not one of those corporate locations where everything is about profits. Dr. Weiner and his team truly care about your pet and provide a quality, personal service. Melody, the groomer is amazing! My dog was very matted and long and she gave her a beautiful cut and even left a bit so she wasn’t shaved to the skin. She looked adorable!!! This is the second great grooming we’ve gotten. Moving on to get her temperament tested for cage/enclosure free boarding and will likely switch to Dr. Weiner as well, now that a vetinary clinic opened…he’s wonderful and was my dog’s vet when she was a puppy! Yesterday was a short day as we dropped Princess off for the afternoon. She was just as excited to go to “doggie daycare” as usual. We could tell afterward that she had a good time and was very happy. As usual, she was tired out from all that “enforced playing” she had to do. She slept well, tired but content. Cookie is a rescue who came with much anxiety from a traumatic beginning. We enrolled her in 12 weeks of obedience training and then realized she needed something more. She loves other dogs, but played inappropriately and we feared she would be bitten. We found pups @ play and spoke to someone and shared Cookies issues. They invited her to attend a 2 hour evaluation at no charge and felt she could be directed to play appropriately with other dogs. We began taking her one day per week. She had the attention she needed and was directed by staff and now can interact and play appropriately with the other dogs. I can’t say enough of how impressed I am and how pleased I am. Cookie is thrilled to go and can’t wait to get inside when we arrive. I feel she is in safe hands and know she is well cared for while there. More...

Absolutely amazing!!! I brought my one year old pup here for the first time yesterday and I am absolutely amazed at their customer service and grooming skills! Melanie is so personable and you can tell she truly has a passion for dogs and making them look their best! We got to tour the daycare / boarding area since we are also planning to have our pup stay there for a week in July. It’s the perfect place for pup socialization! All the dogs are together, playing and always supervised by an employee. Also I heard they are opening another shop in Montclair which I will definitely be checking out since I am much closer to that town. Thanks Pups@Play for such a wonderful experience! I would 100% recommend Pups@play to anyone (especially with a dog that loves to play). We decided to take a chance here after having a negative experience with another dog daycare. Our dog loves cannot wait to get out of the car when we pull up and is exhausted every time we pick her up. We do daycare several days a week, have done grooming and overnights and can say that everything has been excellent. Our dog has severe separation anxiety so it has been such a relief to know she is somewhere that makes her happy and you can tell all the staff there love the dogs. More...

This place is incredible! Took my Ralphy today for his grooming with Doreen who by the way is awesome! Had to go to the er with my son and couldn’t pick up Ralphy when he was ready. My Chihuahua Charlie is very happy at Pups@Play. The owner Lori is Wonderful! So caring and concerned that Charlie and I were both happy with my choice. Pups@ Play is a great place with a very caring staff. My daughter brought her dog to Pups@Play after having a bad experience with a groomer in the state in which she lives. She was reluctant but I suggested we give it a chance. Melody is great and took her time with Remy. Remy is deaf which even makes it more difficult at times. I love this place! They are so friendly - Lori and the team are incredibly welcoming and take great care of all the dogs. I drop off my puppy about 3 times per week and I have peace of mind knowing he will get fed, walked, and enjoy playing with friends . We took our dog here so that he could have a big playdate and have him socialize more with puppies than being home all day! and he LOVED it, he was all dirty from his walk but came out smiling and you could tell he had a great time and was jumping in puddles outside.
