I have no words to explain how amazing Nikki has been with my two boys Charlie and Mr Miyagi. Charlie needed help when he saw other dogs and Miyagi was a very nervous dog. The change in the them has been amazing, and the confidence Miyagi now has is unbelievable. He bonded with Nikki straight away and he is a very happy boy! Positive Paws was recommended to me by a friend and what a great recommendation it was. We were new to dog ownership so the learning curve has been pretty steep. We met Nikki for our first walk in the park and completed both positive paws and practical paws classes which not only has taught our pup lots but it’s helped us be confident owners too. What I love about the sessions is that the groups are not too big so the learning can be tailored to your dogs needs. We had never had a dog walker until Nikki last year & we are so glad we met & use Nikki once a week. Our two dogs love seeing her and get excited when the doorbell goes as they know it’s her. Having someone once a week has really helped both dogs with different kinds of anxiety. We love receiving photos whilst they are on their walks too! I've just completed the 6 week puppy course with my staffie gibby and she has grown in confidence and seems a lot calmer I would highly recommend the puppy course Nicky it a good trainer and always takes her time with you and your puppy

We did the 6 week puppy training and had our 1:1 today and Polly has been making great progress would def recommend Nikki she is so lovely and great with the dogs I was worried as Polly is 1 so I thought getting a bit old but Nikki really reassured me and has given me some fab pointers to continue our training - I will definitely be booking on to the next improver classes and more 1:1's if I start struggling!

Nicki is superb we are thrilled with JJ's progress. Nicki has given us all the advice we needed to train JJ at home with issues such as barking at people whilst walking and visitors at the door and getting him to go to his bed.
We now have a well behaved boy who is happy to do as we tell him and he is much calmer and more well behaved. Nicki is brilliant she is so calm, reassuring and patient. Nicki has made a massive difference to our daily lives and we couldn't be happier. JJ loves her.

We've just completed our 6 week puppy training course with Nikki. We are absolutely delighted in the staggering progress that Ollie has made over the sessions!
Nikki is positive, patient and makes the training exciting and suitable for each individual dog! Ollie loves Nikki and her methods are so clearly explained and work so well! She has given us all the tools we need to work with Ollie at home. We will certainly be back for more 'improvers' sessions with Nikki and Positive Paws! I would recommend Nikki to anyone who has a new puppy or even an older dog who needs support!

Thank you Nikki for helping us get Baxter to be the well behaved pup he was pretending not to want to be 8 weeks ago. The common sense approach, concentrating on what was important to us and how we want to live with Baxter made the classes a pleasure to attend, and we both now feel that we have the foundations to build upon and to most importantly enjoy having him in our lives. What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the bond between owner and dog grow as the training starts to show positive results. A happy owner = a happy dog and that is what Positive Paws aspires to.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own dog Luna and training her from an 8 week old puppy.
