I used Poptop to book in a BBQ company for a 30th Birthday party I was planning at home. Two weeks they called to inform me that the company I had booked through them had not shown up to some events that weekend, and advised me to cancel my booking. Sure enough, the company I had selected had gone AWOL.

Expecting some assistance from Poptup, they so very kindly refunded me £35 (a fraction of the total invoice i had paid) and said they would send through some alternative options through. This of course, did not come to fruition.

In addition, the company that disappeared are STILL being advertised on their site... Do they even check the companies they are listing?

Steer clear if I were you.... More...

We booked Bario and Lewigi via poptop - all worked really smoothly, great service with the website and great pizza - i would recommend this to anyone looking for catering for an event.

Hired a Maserati for my son nursery prom highly reccomend mazza man soo polite helpful and got my boy involved with revving the Maserati and also took him around the estate pick up and drop of time was on point soo kind well worth the money ! ! What can I say, L'Oranais catered a garden birthday party for us yesterday and it couldn't have gone better :) The team arrived a few hours before my event to ensure they were ready for when my guests eventually arrived. It took Mani and his team only a short time to set up the cute little gazebo, which looked great at the back of my garden! Throughout the day Mani kept me informed / checked all was as expected. He was organized for service on time, and was able to keep the food ready, without loss of flavour/texture/tenderness for my later than planned start. A really great website! I needed someone for my event to do face painting for adults, but also wanted to stick to a budget. I was easily able to browse and compare prices. But Amelia also looked after me and she sent out messages to see who was available for the time and day I wanted, as well as being me quotes. This saved me so much time.
