I am very happy with my dogs 1st experience with a groomer. he settled well and enjoyed the hair dryer even though I rescued him 4 weeks ago and he dislikes the hoover.

Never have I ever had such a bad experience in the 11+ years I have been using dog groomers until today with this woman. I am absolutely appalled and disgusted with this woman. First off, I discussed with her that my dog has a skin condition which he has had for many years and that he requires a sensitive shampoo for his skin, this woman didn’t have anything appropriate for my dog so I had to give her my own sensitive dog shampoo for her to use (which she drove away with and told me she would only buy one if I become a regular customer) which just shows she lacks knowledge and doesn’t cater to dogs with skin allergies/conditions which is not a rare problem in dogs so this baffled me and has never been an issue for any groomers I have used in the past, they have always been accommodating and done a fantastic job regardless of his skin inflammation. When she took my dog into her van, he was crying continuously which made me wonder was she being rough and inpatient with him as he is an older dog. After about 50 mins, she opened my door and just let my dog in by himself.. when I saw him I could not believe she had finished by the look of him, I checked to see if his ears had been cleaned and they hadn’t so I asked her if she could do that as they needed to be done and she said she only had wet wipes - a dog groomer should have the correct equipment to properly clean a dogs ears which once again, I have never experienced a dog groomer say this to me. I felt like she couldn’t be bothered, such a lack of professionalism and knowledge, my dog didn’t look like he had even been washed properly, his fur hadn’t even been clipped and he still had messy feet and it was terribly uneven, I could not believe it. It seemed like she didn’t want to touch his belly where his skin condition is which needs to be washed as he sweats. She then proceeded to tell me that it looked like my dog had an ear infection which is not the case as I have recently been to the vets for his annual check up and my dog is healthy, just suffers with skin condition and the effects of getting older. The vet is aware he suffers with a skin problem and only advised that I use sensitive wash on him and a organic his diet as there isn’t much they can do for him. I told her I wasn’t happy and didn’t feel it was right to pay for this service and she was very rude and shouting in my face that she is going to report me to the RSPCA and send photos to them and that I neglect my dog which is absolute madness and appalling she would say such things to a customer just because I was in my right to say I was unhappy and refused to pay unless made right - she made no attempts to apologise or rectify the problem but be confrontational towards me. I am shocked by the unprofessionalism, I wish I had read the reviews prior as it seems people have said similar things. If she had done a good job I would of happily paid her. I would never trust this woman with any animal, she is dangerous with the allegations she makes against people. I had to shut and lock my door and she still proceeded to shout in my driveway, my neighbour was horrified after this event. She asked me why I hadn’t groomed my own dog? I do groom him when I can, I always clip him short and bath him weekly but need a groomer to tidy his face and feet as these are difficult areas which she has done a bad job of. I have honestly never had such a disgusting experience like this and am still in such shock this happened. I want to warn people she does not like any criticism and will threat RSPCA action. What a horrible woman!! She needs to take a course in customer service and learn about dogs skin conditions as she clearly has no clue what she is doing. didn't really want to leave a bad review as Emma is lovely but she just didn't do a good job on my dog my dog was a bit of a job but honestly I could have done better myself he had Matt's in his ear fluff which I thought she'd of cut out and lots of Matt's in his trouser area I knew it wasn't done properly for the amount of hair she got out and the time it took her it was basically a quick bath and a brush don't waste your money if you want a proper groom go to a proper groomers!! fuming!!

Love Style Doctors! I've had a home wardrobe visit with Elin and attended a Wardrobe Masterclass at the Style Lounge, both of which were hugely helpful.
Style Doctors are genuinely helping people to get the most out of their wardrobe and not waste money on stuff they'll never wear. You will get an honest but diplomatic opinion on what suits your lifestyle, colouring and body shape and what you should steer clear of. They also, more importantly, help to guide you gently out of your lazy personal style rut toward something new and exciting. It's like shopping with a really knowledgeable and honest friend. If you, like me, roll your eyes at the thought of shopping for a wardrobe update I can't recommend them highly enough! Treat yourself...you won't regret it.
N.B. I have also recently had an online style board, which would be very useful if you really can't get to see a stylist in person, but of course, is quite limited in what can be suggested as it is reliant on the details you provide which makes it a bit one sided. If you can meet in person this is by far the best way (I was just being lazy!) The online Style Board comes by way of a link to a Pinterest board, a site which I personally find unbearably glitchy (despite all the patient assistance Halide gave me to access my board). Whilst it might be good for fans of Pinterest, it wasn't really for me. But the personal and wardrobe review services are second to none and I'm sure I'll be booking in for a style refresh shopping visit in the Spring.

My son has been in the BJJ after school program since day 1. This is the first program that my son has been in where I am not the Director. I cannot be more happy as a Father and as a Childcare Professional with this program. The after school program is amazing, my son is learning so much and I don't worry at all, because I know that he is being taken care of in every aspect of his development. Carrie and Danny are truly amazing and really put their heart into this program and it completely shows. It doesn't stop there....every Instructor is fantastic even the visiting Instructors. They work well with the children and really get on their level and teach them using developmentally appropriate practices and language. Rest assured this is the program you want your Child in.
