What do you love most about your job?
Above all else, I cherish my relationships with my clients. I take the time to get to know and understand them; find out what makes them tick; and get a true insight into what they envisage for their occasion. I then put my heart into making sure that it is better than they could possibly have imagined - and watching their face as they walk into the room is the best feeling in the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up working in fine dining restaurants such as The Ledbury and The Square. With antisocial hours, sore feet and a profound appreciation for all things delicious, imaginative and beautiful, I learnt the recipe for an incomparable customer experience - and have developed a razor-sharp eye for it. Spending my formative years behind the scenes of culinary greatness taught me that a misaligned spoon matters, a stray crumb matters, a creased napkin matters - it all matters. I was this that inspired me to create beautiful events, with a forensic approach to detail and unrivalled levels of service.

All my clients come back with the same wonderful feedback: "Sophie went above and beyond". It is my obsession with detail that sets me apart. I go the extra mile to make sure that nothing is short of perfect. Every occasion is unique and has a different, meaningful tale to tell - and for me, it's important that even the tiniest detail reflects that. I'll spend just as long perfecting the design of a salt shaker as I would spend choosing the venue. Everything must be bespoke; everything must link seamlessly; everything must tell the tale; and everything must be utterly captivating.
