Come before they stop serving most of the menu on the ground floor. Good news: You can enjoy big old sausages and still hear the rockin' band from the restaurant on the upper level. Bonus: Tons of outdoor and indoor seating and lots of dancing. More...
Service was amazing. They let me change the veal dish to pork. Super delish ♥️♥️♥️
Great place... Tight parking... Good music service atmosphere all wonderful.
Indoor/outdoor beer hall, live music (great bar bands), soft pretzels, wurst on bun and snitzhel, what more do you want on a night out.
Great location for the baby shower I attended. The food was delicious and plentiful, while the venue offered a comfortable amount of seating and ample room for table arrangements.
Great place for excellent beer and bands! We listened to Billboard Live for the second time here, and they absolutely rocked! The lead singer saud he was under the weather, but it didn't stop him from belting out rock classics from Rod Stewart, the Who, Beatles, and Wings (my personal favorites), as well as from many other bands! First time there. We went to see the band (Disco unlimited). Great atmosphere friendly service drinks were good
Great bar scene and bier garden. Food is decent in bar area with awesome cover bands. When it's warm sit outside and enjoy the weather!
Great Experience! Delicious food especially the pretzel sandwiches which are my favorite. The German Beer is Out Of This World! Great place to Support Our Live Local Bands. More...

Great food, great beer, great bartenders, great band - we had so much fun there, as always! Just wish the weather would have cooperated - very crowded and hot inside. Ceiling fans or some way to circulate the air would help! More...
My first time at the Plattduetsche beer garden. What fun! Potato pancakes hit the spot.Friendly bar staff! Band was terrific! People from every walk of life. Met people. talked to people. Just a fun atmosphere! We'll be back. More...
I can not say enough wonderful things about Plattdeutsch Park! From their general managers to their staff who were so attentive to my guests. The food is outstanding. Thank you for an incredible afternoon for our annual Christmas in July event in the Grand Ballroom ❄️ More...

This place has the best food and beer. The outside garden is so relaxing it’s a great place to hang with friends. And the bands are great!!
As expected, the food was authentic and flavorful. We sat upstairs on the deck and the only downside were the ants. It was annoying and our food was not carried away. All the rain must of disturbed their homes.
Anyway please go and enjoy the German food and beer. Super good!!! More...
We went to the front dining room first. The service was slowwwwww. We had to ask several times for a waitress, water, bread, lemon...Once the food arrived, it was lukewarm. We went to the Garden afterwards to listen to the house band ('70s night). The band sounded great. Wish there was a better sound system because if you weren't standing right in front of them, you couldn't hear what they were saying in between songs. Overall, I love the ambiance. More...
Been coming here since I am about 7 years old. We used to have our Franklin Square PBC and Raiders soccer awards breakfasts and dinners. This place never ceases to amaze me. I have had the pleasure of playing soccer on those amazing fields out back as a part of the Hota Bavaria travelling team. Getting back to the place itself though, can't ask for a finer, more authentic German restaurant in Nassau County or maybe even in all of NY. The Christmas Decor was beautiful as always and the staff is as friendly as they are efficient. The food is 2nd to none. I felt like I was at my grandparents house again for dinner. There was no rush to finish up, from the potato pancakes to the large pretzel appetizers to the Champignon Rohmschnitzel with the cream sauce right to the black forest cake for dessert and coffee. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and you'd be hard pressed to find 1 as well. More...
Awesome place I would recommend it to anybody good bands and Scott is the number one bartender there you just have to look at him he knows to bring you a beer he is on the ball
Love this place!!! If you’ve never been.. have to go!! Beautiful outdoor music venue. Very large, good food, love the giant pretzels!!

We’ve been there for numerous events. The experience is always wonderful! The staff and managers are always a pleasure! I highly recommend taking a visit to either the restaurant or the beer hall!
Great Non-judgemental family environment. Everyone connects over great food and beer. Very kid friendly place. A lot like a Brooklyn restaurant. Park Slope specifically.
I was there for a birthday/retirement party. The food was delicious and the staff was great. Nice to have some real sauerbraten, which is a rare thing today. Most places that claim to have it serve meat in sour gravy which is not marinated as it should be. More...
Went to dinner waitress checked on us multiple times. Good food. We stayed to watch the 90’s band. Great show very large crowd. I had no complaints about my experience. I will dine there again and attend another show. More...

I have been there all different seasons for different occasions and was happy every time. Summer the biergarten is great to be outside and enjoy great beer (I am not a normal beer drinker) great food and atmosphere. In winter it's cozy warm. I have gone to the restaurant the food is amazing and feels like you are eating at your German grandma's kitchen :) I had my daughter's baptism in the biergarten and beyond happy. Service was amazing, space was huge, food amazing priced GREAT... so easy to deal with and make arrangements... the guests loved it as did we:) happy customer :) More...
Went to a wedding here and was really impressed! The name of the restaurant made me think the food would be strictly German, however, it was pretty decent Italian food. The main course options were typical (prime rib, chicken, sole, etc) they also offered one German choice (schnitzel) and overall the food was really good. The buffet cocktail hour has a nice spread of italian meats and cheeses and even a baked pasta dish. The bar served premium liquor, which was a plus! The Grand Ballroom was big enough for 250 guests with a massive dance floor. Overall it was a great local venue. More...
Haven't been there in a few years. Was very surprised by how nice the beer garden restaurant looks. We were there for an Austrian regional picnic. I was surprised to see security going through people's bags. They said it was for security purposes but really they were making sure you did not bring in any outside food. No chips or pretzels or even water. Y oi u had to buy any food there...at huge prices!! Would like to try the actual restaurant someday. More...
Awesome food, awesome atmosphere. I have been to Germany multiple times and this is as close as it gets to the real thing. They have bands almost every weekend, the best thing to do is go to the website and get the events list.. The beer garden is awesome and the German beer selection is great, not like other places that call themselves a German restaurant / bar and there is only one to two German beers on the menu and the only food they have is schnitzel and bratwurst. I must say the menu in the beer garden is limited but still very good. The main restaurant has a larger menu and make sure you make a reservation if your going to the restaurant because it is not that big. Oh one more thing, the mini sliders are a must but let me warn you once you have them there is no going back. There is plenty of parking, they have a main lot and there is a free lot a block away. If you are looking for an authentic feel and taste this is your place... More...
This is an awesome German restaurant and beer garden. The general manager is amazing and very friendly. The staff is accommodating and professional. The venue is beautiful. They have lots of rooms for all different types of events. The bar is huge and the bartenders are fast and efficient. The valet is great and very fast. All around this is a great place for any event. Two enthusiastic thumbs up! More...
Awesome, authentic German atmosphere. Modern yet old fashion type feel to the place. Great music with live bands ranging from all musical genres. Great spiruts, libations with excellent food selections. Sit down, indoors or outdoors. Stage with dance floor. Multiple bars. They have special occasion events or you can book your own event. Free admission to their events. Really fun time. More...
The new-ish beer garden is great. Seating is overhead away from the bar, though you still get all of the noise from downstairs. The beer selection is extensive and the food was good. Service was fast and attentive. More...
Great place for live music. Top cover bands play here Every Fridays and Saturdays. ATMOSPHERE is one like a beer garden bar. But its still nice place for entertainment and dancing. More...
One of the few places on Long Island where you can hear live music. Great bands like “Us and Floyd”. Huge indoor and outdoor. Great beer and food.
Very good food at a reasonable price. A good beer selection. Service was a bit off, but I think that there was a lot of other parties and events going on. I will go back though. I wish I would have found this place years ago. More...
Absolutely love this place. The space is huge. The food is unique and amazing. The beer is of the highest quality. The weekends in the summer or spring with a live band are magical. Never any problems here. Just good times. More...
We were they're for a party. Good food and drink. Accommodating service. It was chilly with the ac on but that was probably better than have it warm with people dancing.
This place is beautiful with giant rooms for catering. The food is fantastic, although the potato dumplings left a bit to be desired. This place is very affordable for events and I would recommend it to everything I know. The manager is a sweet lady and a pleasure to deal with. The staff is polite and quick to help you with a problem. More...
Fast food eats are good , love the pretzel!! Atmosphere is mixed and band, music always varied and good. Great local place.
Great atmosphere. They constantly have bands/events/activities going on. Family friendly. The best time to go is when the weather is warm enough for you to hang outside. Plenty of room and seating for all. Food always comes out fast. More...

Excellent food in a very impressive venue which makes you feel as if you are in Germany. The service is outstanding and very accommodating.
The number of German restaurants on Long Island keeps getting smaller. This restaurant and Beer Garden is a great hold out and deserve to stay. As always would love to sauerbraten to be a little bit more sour. :-) the traditional waitress costumes look the part. More...
Stopped for a beer one evening and enjoyed the friendly bartenders and the cool beer that we came back the next day. We are not from the area but do come to New York to see relatives fairly often and probably will stop
Haven't been here in years. Recent visit revealed the beer garden! I believe its spelled differently but you get the point. Amazing overall facility. Concerts are free and good food is served More...
Great staff, incredible slection on tap. Food was delicious. Beautiful bar, really great atmosphere and time here
Been there for soccer and football games. Draws a great crowd. Good food and selection of German beers. A little pricey but worth it.
Family-friendly atmosphere with open air picnic tables outside for casual communal dining, and restaurant-style seating available indoors. Restrooms could be better attended to. More...
This place is a lot of fun. Live music, lots of German beers to try, and great German food including giant soft pretzels! The out door area is huge so if the weather's nice its even better.
Hidden gem in Franklin square! I had no idea this was a beer garden. The small footprint and signage on Hempstead tpke hides the fact that there is a massive outdoor section in the back. The Google maps listing is only for the restaurant. The bar and beer garden have separate hours More...

Great old school German restaurant, with amazing food and German beers. The outdoor area is very new and beer garden with bands in the summer is a must do.
