ate here today for the first time. my coworker recommended. she ordered a pizza a couple weeks ago and they delivered the pizza within 30 minutes. dominos/pizza hut/papa johns take an hour. already this is a plus. so i had thought they had pizza fries (french fries with pizza toppings on top) and the girl at the cashier said no but they could make it for me. another plus. last was when they were preparing the food, we saw them put lots of cheese and toppings. other mom and pop pizza shops i've ordered from always skimp on the toppings. and sometimes they barely put cheese. this pizza had LOTS of it. i told the girl that i work right down the street and we will definitely be ordering from here in the future :) More...

This is my new go to spot. I am very picky with pizza and this one is perfect in my opinion. The crust is not too thick or thin. Its airy and soft. They don't take any longer than 10-15 min to make a large pizza. This shouldn't be marked as double $$ dollar signs. I get a large pizza for $13 for SIX TOPPINGS! Well, they finally hired someone who understands how to take orders over the phone.      That being said, everything that I have tried from this place is amazing. Definitely beats Domino's and all those other places.      They tell you the order will take 45min - 1 hour. But it's A LOT quicker than that. Haven't been on in awhile, but had to come on today. Stop by this place and man was it good. I ordered the mushroom burger with tater tots. Everything about this burger was great. From flavor to size it was well worth it. The tater tots make you feel like a kid again. Can't wait to return to try the other burgers and sandwiches. Heck I still haven't tried the pizza yet!! Only tried the vegan pizza, but it was huge for the price and made fresh hyper quick!  They let you pick your toppings like with pizza rev, but they throw the dough by hand.  Was hyper delicious, never expected it to be so good in a million years, we'll definitely be going back in the future.Boyfriend had pasta with vegan cheese in it too, and it tasted fantastic.  They let you pick toppings for it to be cooked with and it was seriously good too, maybe even better than the pizza.  I would definitely recommend it to other vegans or lactose intolerant peeps in the area, it's worth the drive.Staff was also incredibly nice, overall 10 out of 10. =) More...

Update: Shant the manager heard my cry/bitchin on the internets and did me solid with a free order.  Of course everything is tasty when it's free, but legit there pizza is damn good. Yes a California pizza chain has good pizza, I said it! Bout time. The food in general is just damn good. Good lookin out pizza man.The food is good but the service is slow and unprepared. Order online, online stating a small is 10.00 I'll get back to that. Order online because I work down the street and like any working adult you have a certain time limit for lunch, so ordered food online to save time. Website states it prepared and ready. Get here to an empty restaurant and not only is it not ready but she looks at me like she didn't even know the order came through. I then see her began to make a pizza so not only is it not cooked but its not prepared. Back to the 10$ for a small. Okay, so I have to preface this review by saying that I don't know if Abel at Pizza Man Van Nuys is THE official Pizza Man, but as far as I'm concerned, he is THE MAN. Let me set the scene: I had had a very, very long day. I had seen pictures of some pretty delicious looking cheesey bread on this here website, and I knew FOR SURE that I was gonna order it. So I get there and I'm looking at the menu and scanning the side orders and I see "cheese sticks." I thought to myself, "Hmm, that's strange, I've never seen cheesey bread referred to as cheese sticks before. BUT I guess they are sticks of bread covered in cheese, so that must be right!" So, very sure of myself, I ordered CHEESE STICKS. A few minutes later I was surprised when the aforementioned Abel asked me if I wanted any sauce. "That's very considerate of him," I thought. I said I'd take ranch and Abel asked me if I wanted one or two (!) cups before bringing the order to my table. Imagine my shock when I was presented with a cup of ranch and CHEESE STICKS. Just as I had ordered. I couldn't hide my surprise and blurted out, "THAT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED TO ORDER." I looked at the menu board again (more closely this time) and saw, clearly indicated at the bottom, "Italian Cheese Bread." I abashedly explained that I was an idiot who today clearly didn't know the difference between cheese sticks and cheese bread, even though normally I can distinguish them. Abel (like a G) said he'd make me cheese bread and bring it out ASAP, no prob. I felt terrible and tried to pay for my second meal but he insisted that it was on the house. MY SHAME KNEW NO BOUNDS. To add insult to my mortified brain, the cheese sticks (the actual cheese sticks, not the cheese bread in cheese stick's clothing) were DELICIOUS. They were not the run-of-the-mill frozen mass-produced cheese sticks that many establishments pick up at Restaurant Depot and throw in the deep frier. These appeared to me to be (and tasted like!) freshly breaded-and-fried to order mozzarella sticks. They were the best cheese sticks I've had in years. A short time later an order of cheesey bread appeared. It was also delicious. Garlic-y and cheesey and everything CHEESE BREAD should be. TL;DR I momentarily took leave of my senses and Pizza Man was really cool about it. I recommend the cheese sticks and/or the cheese bread. 10/10 would go crazy here again. More...

The menu has so much to offer and everything sounds delicious, it's hard to choose. We have ordered from there twice now and I'm sure we will be ordering again.  I have had the cheese burger (so good), cheese sticks (perfect) and the Pastrami sandwich (huge, delicious) and their fries are great! The reason I felt compelled to write this review is that the guy on the phone was SO nice and helpful and the guy who delivered was very friendly as well.  It's hard to come by a place that the staff is nice but it's even more rare to find somewhere where the staff is extra friendly. My bf and I drove nearly 40 miles after seeing the "bfb" promoted on Instagram. We got to the location and it was hard for us to decide what we actually wanted, because everything seemed good.
