It all begun back in 1976 when the actual head of the family and business started to work in his uncle's upholstery workshop. It quickly became a way of life and a passion to learn and explore, leading him to open his very first business in Madrid.

Pinilla & Sons did a terrific job on three chairs for me and they did it quickly! Collected and delivered back to SE1 exactly when they said they would. The work on the chairs is faultless and they obviously put thought and care into the the finished product. Visit was agreed efficiently. Within days, they made up the 'arms' for the settee and reclining chair as requested; their workmanship looks excellent, and was within my budget. The rest of the work was straightforward for me to finish, and they gave expert hints to help me. I reckon that Alejandro also has an artistic flair, which adds to his ability, and I found both him and his father to be very professional and trustworthy. By comparison, Plumb's offer was much more expensive and would have taken weeks.taken weeks . I am pleased to recommend them. More...

What do you love most about your job?
We considerate that every piece of furniture is as authentic and genuine as the usage it did have or would have. We have an especial inclination for those antiques that bring us to an exquisite classical moment where we are concern that a specialised artisan handcrafted expertise would be in line with its value.
