I really like these photobooth, BBBUUUTTT.... the group photos say 1-4 or 2-6. Unless your cutting people out like I was or you want to look like ants, then its ok. I chose to buy another spot just for myself. One more thing, i would suggest you check your enlargements b4 you leave. Mine had printer stripes from the ink. Not clean copies at all and don't look as good as the prints the machine gives you. No point in calling to have them reprint bc I don't live near the business. More...

I love purikura. They have a good selection and you can get the images enlarged. My only complaint is that I wish they allowed online download from the app so i can have high res pics.

Fun gimmicky thing to do. They have a table to craft your photo at.

The employee who helped me was super nice and helped assist me whenever I got confused about what the machine was telling me to do XD. I did the How To+ one, which was $12, but it was worth it.I cannot wait to come back here again. More...

This place is amazing. I went to this place last year and I was shook. I literally was shaking the whole time I was there because I was so excited . If you want to be shook like I was the whole time I really recommend this shop. More...

I was in town visiting a friend and she took me to Pika Pika! I had never heard of it and I've never seen booths like these before. The man running the shop was wicked friendly and took the time to explain to me how it all worked and which booth was best for beginners. I had so much fun! If you're ever in Japantown, you have to stop by!!! You can send anywhere from 10mins to forever there!! More...

Person who assisted us was extremely helpful! We went with Gyza which was one of the harder booths, but they explained it very cohesively and made sure we understood what to do. It wasn't as hard as we thought it would be and their instructions were more than enough to help us navigate the Japanese interface. We had a little trouble with decorating, but if you've ever used any photo editing software like photoshop, you should be fine, intuition of which button does what helps. It just takes a little exploring of the controls to get the most out of your pictures, but I assume it you do a mix of English/Japanese it would be a breeze. It was so much fun I wanted to spend all my money there. Next time I'm in sf I will definitely be revisiting. Also, they seem to be open on Sundays. Not sure of the hours but they are open weekends. I was sort of shocked at the price of this store. It was around $12 for some little pictures. But I would still recommend this store if you want to make some nice memories with friends. It's certainly very fun and bound to get some laughs. More...
