What do you love most about your job?
The dogs, I know sounds obvious but honestly the relationship I have between the dogs and myself is the most important and amazing part of my job. For me it is of massive importance to have a great relationship with the owners as well as the dogs. I love to have feedback from the owners and feel it is hugely important for myself, the owners and the dogs. I love taking photos of the dogs when they are with me and have had a lot of amazing comments from their owners about these pictures. It means the owners can see what their dogs have been up to whilst out walking with me and the other dogs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started dog walking 6 years ago after leaving my job as a special needs teaching assistant. It changed my life in so many ways. I've always had dogs in my life from a child my parents had golden retrievers then getting my own dogs the first one after my daughter was born and now I have 4, all rescues and all amazing in their own right. I've worked with all breeds, small, medium and large, many temperaments and some with issues that have been amazing to see them over come.
