Christian is great to work with. He and his band [played a special event for me an about 80 of my closest friends. They absolutely killed it. The music was perfect, and set a great tone for the evening. Christian is professional and easy to deal with. I have taken many lessons for various skills and sports in my life, and Christian is one of the best instructors I've had. He is patient, knowledgable, and can diagnose what you're doing wrong very quickly. He is very encouraging and makes the lesson fun. I've had three lessons so far (without having any previous rock drum experience), and I think I already have a good feel for how to play the drums (I have a long way to go, of course).I recommend you video the exercises that he wants you to do, and come back and practice by yourself in the studio ($20 for 2 hours). He will make sure you understand the exercise and is deliberate while your are videoing to make sure you have it right.Christian is also great at following up after a lesson to make sure not too much time elapses between lessons, and he also sends videos of professional drummers to help in your learning.
