My name is Jack Galton I am 19 years old and currently studying History at Aberystwyth University after achieving A*AB at A levels with an A* in Business A level which was taught to me by Sarah. Sarah is a brilliant tutor as she is knowledgeable in her field with an extensive knowledge and desire to push all her students to the best of their abilities. This is in order to help them achieve the best grade possible that she thinks they are capable of and offers lots of assistance via one on one sessions and emails to any problems that may arise. Sarah is a good teacher and helped me with my writing, communication and numerical skills which furthered my responses to answering questions in examinations and helped me improve my style of writing for essays which has proved useful in university. Sarah is also a kind and understanding teacher and helped me develop my confidence not only in regards to set work but also in social situations and helped increase my confidence which without her assistance I would not have made many friends at college and would not have had the confidence to eventually go on to study at a university level. Without this increase in confidence I would not have also been able to make some of the friends I have done by being in Aberystwyth University and would not have likely gone on to study the course I am currently on. Sarah Probert is an astonishing tutor who had a huge impact me on getting where I am today. She always motivated me to achieve the best I could and would always offer me help whenever it was needed. While learning with Sarah for three years I learned everything I know about business today.


From starting college, not knowing what I wanted to do, or even knowing anything about business, I managed to leave college with the grades DDD*. This would not have been possible for me without Sarah. She will support you in and out of studying and is always available to offer help and support on any work you may need to complete.

When I started College I applied for a Level 2 course in Business; however, Sarah said I had the potential to complete a Level 3 course so with reservations, I agreed to start the higher level course. The challenges of the course forced me out of my comfort zone but also made me realise that I am capable of far more. The course was very practical and I had many opportunities to put business skills into practice including being asked to help run a weekend course for management students and running my own stall at the open air market in the town centre.
When I started studying business I was a shy character who lacked in confidence. Throughout the duration of my business studies, I grew stronger as an individual and my confidence grew incredibly. She would always motivate me when I didn't believe in myself. She definitely helped me grow as a person and find who I am. I had no idea what I wanted to do when I began studying business but a year into my course I found a passion for marketing.
Sarah would always strive to give 100% to her students both in and outside of study and was always there to offer you support and help on anything you may need. I've learnt a lot from Sarah in the business world but also outside of business.
Without the belief of Sarah I wouldn't of had such an opportunity to study and complete such a great course, and I am now going on to study Marketing Management in Chester University. The encouragement and support I received from my tutor (Sarah) was absolutely Phenomenal. I would definitely recommend Sarah as a tutor as she will always push you to achieve the best of your ability and accomplish your goals but, also help you realise you can achieve so much more than you believe. She is such a kind hearted, and understanding individual who will help build your confidence and achieve whatever goals you may have.
