I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Pearl Island Catering. There are many different caters in the Charlottesville area and, because of my line of work, I have worked with about 80% of them so far- Pearl Island is one of the best out there (if not THE best)! I have been using Pearl Island to cater for my office once a week over the last 1.5 years and they are not only extremely professional and timely but are also SO easy to work with! While their signature is Caribbean inspired dishes they have put together many other menus to provide variety in our weekly meals and they have absolutely dominated. Fantastic take-out dinner! I appreciate so much that they use compostable containers (and they're great for freezing compost in between trips to McIntire) We got the veggie and chicken platters, and a bahn mi for good measure. They catered my son's baptism and fed a family of Puerto Ricans from the island. Even the Abuela approved of the food! It was delicious and authentic with a little flare!
