Plenty of space and a variety of equipment for any kind of workout you want. Obviously busy periods will limit your choice of machines or weights but they won’t all be being used at once. Plenty of lockers too. You can also purchase water and fitness drinks. There’s a car park with a free two hour limit outside if you have driven. Staff are helpful, especially Paul. I tend to visit during the day when it’s less busy so I can do circuit training and cardio without having to wait for my turn. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to become a member. Been a member on and off over the past few years. As pretty much a novice. I love all the new changes. The app is great I can finally walk about like I know what I'm doing with the free workout plans. It shows you where the equipment is. How long each rep should be. The breaks you need to take and a built in timer. You can book classes and inductions. Its 24hr.the showers put me off at first but they are great and the on site free hair dryers are great for b4 work sessions or. Just to look a bit more human after being a sweaty mess scaring the locals Haha. Also plenty of charging space. Only two closed changing cubicles but never had a problem getting one. Or use a loo cubicle or shower. It's well laid out. Lockers us paddocks. They have vending machines for locks, towels and food and drinks. Also the flavoured water at extra cost or can add it to ur membership. The studio for classes is hidden away but still integrated in the gym. The weights area is big enough to not feel crowded. The app gives a figure of how many are at the gym. The most I have seen is 95 and there were still plenty of equipment to use without waiting. I have the key fob entry. Definitely recommend any reason to make getting me in is a bonus. After the stairs up to the gym to save me leaving the better! There is a lift and accessible entrance. Staff are never far to flag down if the entrance misbehaves. It's a one in one out type pod. Free drinking water. Good mix of exercises and varied classes. Very clear on the walls who the staff are and what they do. TV screens show music vids and gym offers. A large digital clock by the studio that can be seen from most areas. I'm not addicted but I'm definitely converted to gym life feel more confident going here now :) oh and the fans on the machines are a plus could do with stronger ones though. And a cleaning station for those who forget towels or leave stuff sweaty. :) More...

A really good gym. I slightly prefer the Southampton Central pure gym as they have recently invested some money into it and it looks great. But this is a really good gym, although there's no natural lighting they have done a good job of lighting the place. Good amount of equipment which are all of a high spec. The changing facilities are very impressive, the best of any pure gym in Southampton. Would recommend this gym. More...

Loads of all types of cardio and weight machines. The classes are good- challenging when you start but then become easier and just a way to keep a good fitness. They are however, a little short and pressed for space. It is a gym designed for just what I want, somewhere with lots of different ways to get a bit more fit and trim for summer. More...

I had my first ever sports massage with George on Friday. I have been struggling with alot of pain in my lower back and leg for the past 6 weeks and have been having treatment somewhere else with a chiropractor and have had acupuncture with no results. Yes the massage was slightly painful but I felt 100% better when i left and could walk without pain. I was given exercises and advised to keep my fluids up. All very professional and looking forward to my next treatment in a couple of weeks. More...

As a trans guy I was a bit nervous and wondering how much to say about my transition, but Janet was very friendly and chatty and made me feel relaxed and comfortable from the start. She also did a brilliant job with my stiff neck and knotty shoulders! Would definitely recommend, especially to other trans and non-binary people who are suffering from stress but feeling anxious about getting a massage. More...

I have been visiting Joe monthly for around a year. Having explained the issues I was having with my lower back and legs Joe got to work. Although great benefits were had within months I have continued to see Joe monthly to ensure I don’t have the same issues. I would recommend anyone with flexibility issues to give Joe a go. It’s painful but worth the benefits. More...

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
"The first thing I look for is a strong mentality towards training and healthy eating choices. If there are poor associations with either of these, I work with my clients to shift these into more positive associations and in the process, we shape their new positive habits for long-term results."
"The training itself is tough and demanding, but every session is individualized and tailored to the clients needs and wants. The nutritional advice is also highly individualized for the very reason that no two people are the same. Everyone is different and has different preferences, so I work with them to develop healthy habits of their own with regards to food".
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
"Secret?"
"I will be blunt here, there is NO SECRET, only hard work and perseverance. Anyone else who says otherwise is full of hot air and B.S."
What do you love most about your job?
"I love the fact that I can have a positive long term effect on every single person that steps through the door of my studio. Sometimes just dropping a dress size or rehabilitating a niggling injury, can massively increase peoples confidence. Seeing people smile and getting the positive comments back makes it all worth while".
What inspired you to start your own business?
"Honestly, I hate being told what to do! That was the first nail in the coffin of me being employed. The second was when I found out I could help people become more confident in themselves and achieve similar results I had experienced. I was never a small kid and I was bullied a lot at school, so being able to help people become what they truly want and be happy in themselves is just amazing for me."
Why should our clients choose you?
"Very simple answer really. I provide a clear and effective blueprint towards either dropping a dress size or an amount of body fat."
"If the goal is rehab, I have worked with literally hundreds of people on this with great results. Specifically over 700 which I can count, but anyway the numbers and results speak for themselves".
Sports massage
Sports massage has over the years become more and more popular, due to the massive growth of digital technology. More and more people are beginning to bend over and crane their necks to look at their devices. Whether it be their smart phone, tablet or the laptop, people are turning to massage to relieve the pain and discomfort.
Sports massage is quite deep and yes the pressure does range from a very manageable discomfort which some people opt for, all the way to what is quite frankly very brutal stuff, but the great thing is that whatever your injury or pain, whatever the pressure that you can tolerate, peak performance can deliver you the massage that will suit you specifically.
Mobile and In-house Personal Training
Mobile personal training involves the trainer bringing the gym to you. The trainer will work with you to establish goals, timeframes for success and give you direction in your journey to greater fitness. You will be provided with the tools and knowledge to begin training on your own. If you are already a seasoned exercise enthusiast, you will be put through your paces and you will work harder than you ever have before.
We also provide the option of training in our fully equipped PT studio.
