What do you love most about your job?
I love watching the puppies try to work out what is expected and then test to see if it works and the wonder and pride on the face of the owner as they see how fast their puppies catch on.
Sometimes puppies try a variety of options and they can be extremely funny. Some are very cheeky, some are sneaky but it is always fun.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The owner of a big Dog Training School telling me that I knew more about dogs than he did.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because THEY decide what they want their puppy to learn and the whole family can join in.
At Peaceful Pups, we approach puppy training in a totally different way. We don't follow the crowd and teach a narrow range of behaviours rather, we teach the little things that make owning a dog a joy rather than something to worry about.
Things like:
- not taking food out of the toddler's hand or the coffee table,
- Not rushing out of the front door as soon as it opens,
- not barging through the door or out of the crate, knocking over whoever is in their way.
We also teach the traditional behaviours, but in their own homes and where they will walk the dog. We go out on walks with them and practise walking on a loose lead where they need it, whether it is just down the road, or around town. If they choose we can go on active walks where we show you how to be part of y.ur dog's fun, not just walking whilst he is sniffing.
Our goal is to help families integrate their puppy, or rescue, into their homes as quickly and stress-free as possible. What the puppy or rescue learns is up to the customer.
Puppy Training for families
Unique puppy training where you decide what your puppy needs to learn and every member of the family can have a go too.
You do not have to wait until your puppy has had its vaccinations as we start with the core behaviours in your own home. We will cover all the basics in the first session.
Each session is at least 2 hours and you will receive all instructions in writing so you do not have to try to remember everything.
I guarantee that you will notice a difference in the first session.
Training starts at £120.
