Jen was so wonderful with our 4mo old Great Pyrenees mix pup. We left Juliet with Jen for one week while we vacationed, and Juliet was returned happy and smarter! She learned several skills, and then Jen met with us to train us with Juliet. We also got daily updates/photos/videos from Jen so we always knew what Juliet was learning, and her progress. Jen was referred to us by a close friend who wouldn't think of entrusting the care of her beautiful cat to anyone but Jen, and who assured us that Jen was the best person to look after our 3 cats - Prince, Rita, and Lolly - while we were on vacation. She was so right! Jen came to our house well in advance of our departure date to meet the cats, and us, and brought along the amazing Ava, who was to be the person to come to the house while we were away. Our cats are all former beasts of the wilds of our west side neighborhood, and the cat paradise they now call home is a unique and unfinished habitat. They are idiosyncratic to say the least. None of this phased Jen! Jen was clearly knowledgeable and passionate about animals. She also continued to put our minds at ease with immediate responses to texts (and there were quite a few!), photos of the cats, and updates on how everyone was doing. A special thanks to Ava, the cat whisperer, who charmed Prince and Lolly into petting sessions and photo shoots, and even talked the reclusive Rita out of her cave for treats! What do you love most about your job?
I love the feeling I get when the pet parents see how happy their pup is when we arrive to pick them up , and how tired they are when we drop them at the end of their play session . I love how rewarding it is to help a dog that might need a little extra attention with socializing or just simple direction. I could go on and on with all the loves I have ... truly there is not just one thing
What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me first was the 3 pups I had at home, now there are only 2. Each pup represented a very important change in my life, I took what they taught me, my love for animals and the hard work my parents distilled in me made a huge impact to pursue my passion. Which is to help change the world one paw at a time.
Why should our clients choose you?
I believe in reward base training , but also I believe most pups push limits , so it’s important that they know that they look to you to protect them , and teach them . Just like children at a young age , they will act out if the proper attention and guidance isn’t given.
