We can't speak highly enough of the service that Paul and Kathryn provided us, not only on the wedding day itself, but in the lead up to and after the wedding as well. Paul and Kathryn were so organised and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. They were also so helpful in helping us with the album and it was great going to view the photos at their house on the slide show. We are so glad that we had Paul and Kathryn to take photos at our wedding at Western House Hotel in July. They were a dream team and did a fantastic job. From the first meeting with Paul, we felt a huge sense of relief because we knew we were in good hands. He was very professional and his depth of experience was evident. You spend a lot of your wedding day with your photographer and the photographer is also a key person when it comes to working out timings, so it's important to have someone who knows what they're doing and you can trust. Beforehand we thought we didn't need two people but we were so grateful that Kathryn and Paul work together. It meant that the was an extra person to capture impromptu shots, help fetch lenses for particular photos, or fix my dress/veil so it was perfect for the photos. They were very professional organising people in group shots - organised and efficient, but never bossy.The end results were fantastic and capture memories we will treasure for a lifetime. Paul and Kathryn are both incredibly professional, genuinely nice people who took so much time before and at our wedding to ensure our experience would be perfect. We first had an engagement shoot with Paul last summer, and ended up spending much longer with him than expected (he really wanted to make sure we'd get some lovely sunset shots - and did we ever!!) So it went without saying that we booked him for our wedding this summer. He took the time to sit us down before the wedding to really talk through the day and prep us on how we could get the best out of our pictures. On the day, again, Paul really kept a close eye on the weather and general surroundings in order to give us the be photos possible. We've only seen previews so far (our wedding was just 2 1/2 weeks ago), but they're absolutely stunning, and I can only recommend Paul to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in Ayrshire and surroundings. Particularly if you're getting married at Brig o' Doon, you should go with Paul - everyone loves him there and he knows the place inside out. Can only recommend, and we'll probably be back for family portraits (and more photos of my mum's dog) in the future! More...

We can't thank this lovely couple enough for making such a great job of our wedding photos. Their professionalism and expertise is outstanding as well as the enthusiasm and patience that they show to make sure that they got the best photos possible. They are true perfectionists; we were amazed by their eye and attention to detail! At the end of the wedding, all that really matters is that you two are there, loving, and commit to each other for life. However, great photos sure go a long way to help with the wonderful memories.Our wedding planning was all completed from afar, meaning that we had never met Paul Walker in person until the wedding day. All of our plans were made via e-mail. Fortunately, it was obvious in the prompt, courteous, thoughtful e-mail exchanges that Paul was the right choice to be our photographer. On the day of the wedding, we could only hope that he would show up and be on time. After all, we had never met Paul and we aren't from Scotland. Paul continued to be courteous with an early arrival that included taking stock of the venue to be sure he knew just where to take photos.To say that our wedding was small is an understatement. We were the only two there, beyond our photographer, celebrant, and bagpiper. It was important that those who were there to capture images and lead the session did not overshadow just the two of us. Paul continued to excel. He and his assistant blended into the background and we barely noticed that they were there during our ceremony. Then, after the ceremony, Paul and his assistant were so relaxed and fun that we truly enjoyed the additional photography. He made it comfortable for two shy people to be photographed.Now, just two days ago, our photographs arrived. Honestly, we would have been happy no matter what they looked like. We are happily married and enjoyed a wonderful experience. To our delight, the photographs were beyond our hopes. They are amazing. How did he capture our emotions? How did he get so many of us looking relaxed and immersed in each other? I have no idea, but Paul is a master.Finally, we are thankful to Glenapp Castle.
