My husband and I decided to have something sweet after dinner and found this bustling little place. We were seated immediately but crammed in the very back. When we get ready to order we were informed that about half of the items they were sold out of. This cramped our decision-making a bit. However when the food didn't arrive it was very tasty. The place was very loud and it was hard to have a nice conversation. My only regret is I wish we had ordered the afternoon tea rather than single desserts. We saw some other tables having them and they looked delicious. More...

Good site to have a typical style tea break. Helpful and friendly staff. A little small but with lots of character and English flavor.

We visited Covent Garden Cafe. I was given an “Afternoon Tea” Voucher as a gift for Christmas. I took a girlfriend with me and we had a truly lovely experience. The service was excellent, food was plentiful and we were offered tea refills, which we gladly accepted. Our only gripe, not a complaint, as such the scones were a little crusty and hard. All in all we would visit again. More...

O.M.G! The cakes are truly amazing and the drinks were not bad either. The staff was always happy to help. It can get really busy and noisy but there is another level (basement) with lovely leather armchairs to relax and refresh.

We were redeeming a Smartbox gift voucher for afternoon tea for two. You can't book in advance at Patisserie Valerie but fortunately we were able to be seated straightaway. Our waitress, Jisu, was lovely and very accommodating when we requested that the sandwiches be served without mustard or pesto. The cakes and scones were delicious and we had a lovely time. More...

Always extremely busy when we were here so service can be a bit slow. The pastry can be a hit a miss but the chocolate cakes are always the best choice!

Super patisserie for a quick takeaway. Better still , enjoy the atmosphere for an afternoon of high tea or coffee. The place has a rich history and amazing pastries. The chocolate mousse cake and cheese cake is to die for. Amazing atmosphere and attentive service. Reasonable pricing too. More...

A friend of mine brought me here when I was visiting from Los Angeles for tea and I had a really nice time. The atmosphere left a bit to be desired, but I ordered the Madame Valerie Cream Tea and I felt like I got so much for my money. Two scones, clotted cream, and my tea for under 7 pounds? I couldn't believe it. I've been to London a couple times and I honestly had never gone out for tea because of the price, but this was wonderful. If the furnishings were just a bit nicer it would have felt like something out of a storybook. More...

Had a voucher for afternoon tea today. Went to the one on Marshall Street and afternoon tea was not only sold out but the customer service was rubbish. Picadilly was packed. So finally went to this one and yes it's small. But when we got there it wasn't packed and the customer service was on point and friendly and afternoon tea was good. More...
