Very friendly staff and one of the few quiet cafes around in which you can have a conversation without feeling like you have to compete with loud music or the chatter of others. Prices unfortunately are a bit steeper. More...

Good cake, but a place is a bit tired. I am the only customer on Sunday at 2pm. The orange juice was freshly squeezed but I estimate I got about 200ml topped with ice for £3. 50. I chose orange and earl grey cake which was well worth the calories. The orange curd was lovely and the hints of earl grey just right. The menu boards are shabby with may of the process covered with scruffy paper. Some of the chairs need a good clean, but all the food prep seems fine. The server was very helpful with someone asking for dairy free who has just arrived. More...

Locale giovane, gestito da italiani bravi e simpatici.Buona scelta per chi vuol gustare dolci buoni o fare una colazione mediterranea. Ottima la loro versione del French toast gustosa ma decisamente meno pesante. More...

This is the nearest I've managed to find which can claim to be a French patisserie in greater Manchester... And it does a pretty good job too! We tried the Onizuka and the oreo cheesecake. The Onizuka had a good delicate sponge, milk chocolate ganache and chocolate glaze, all well put together. The oreo cheesecake, honestly, was OK but nothing too special. The coffee and the Ferrero milkshake were excellent. The staff were very friendly and the venue cosy with some cool books to browse through. More...

Cozy French patisserie. Pastries and dessert well done and well presented. You fill find French classics ( macarons, éclairs, pain au chocolate, etc) and quirky new creations. Well assorted selection of tea and infusions. They do fresh crêpes as well that I strongly recommend to try. It is the perfect place for a continental breakfast, a light lunch or an afternoon tea. Nice café, good selection of teas, coffees, frappes, cold drinks and hot chocolate. Soups, sandwiches and crepes are available, I had a very nice hummus and olive crepe. A wide variety of French syrups are available for hot or cold drinks. Also, obviously, yummy patisseries. This could be my new favourite café in town. More...

I popped in here on a cold afternoon and had their Shakshouka (never tried it before). It was really good, so tasty and perfect for the weather. It was the nicest food I have eaten in a long time, and different from the usual burger and chips being sold in the nearby places. Friendly chatty people working there too. I'll definitely drop in here again next time I'm in Mancs. More...

Something different from the Northern quarter cafes, it's a European styled cafe.
The selection of cakes change and are baked onsite.
They are not overly sweet. You order at the counter and then your order is taken to your table. I keep coming back to check out what's new.
