My friend/hairdresser for life Paige has been my hairdresser for over 20 years and has seen me through many different varieties of ‘colours’ and ‘cut phases’ during my fashion era’s and trends - red, blonde, red and blonde, dark brown. She has cared for my hair during pregnancies and times when my hair has been stressed (whilst listening to my woes of why my hair is showing signs of stress!) and then cut the hair of my 2 children. The salon is very child friendly and many a time the ‘team’ has rallied around so mummy can get some pampering time whilst the others coo over my babies, toddlers to then grown children. She has been there to do a hair up for my wedding day and been there to look after my scalp and hair when diagnosed with Cancer. Always with love and tender care and with a hug and a smile. She is the most amazing hairdresser/stylist/friend that I could ask for. The team she has working for her are friendly, welcoming and I love going there to get my hair done. I got a walk in appointment with one of the junior staff members called Amy. She was really friendly, very attentive and gave me a great haircut. Paige is fantastic. I needed serious help with my hair and colour. Paige listened to what I wanted, and gave really great professional advice. My hair turned out SO much better than I had expected. Paige was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. She listened to what I wanted and did a great cut and blow dry with curls. Her prices are very favorable. She recommended a great protein treatment that made my tired hair look amazing. Although the treatment was expensive, it was well worth it. Had my hair cut by Paige a few weeks ago which was perfect we then discussed getting some colour on my hair and booked an appointment for this. I was in last night having my colour done by Paige who couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding about what I wanted (because I didn’t really know what I wanted!!) she went through all the options and took some time to decide what would be best for me which was so nice! I dropped in Page’s hair salon with messy, half-red, half-blonde + a bit of something else ( ) hair, the result of a self-made experiment using rainbow semi-permanent colours. .. I had just arrived in Edinburgh from Italy and I was seeking for professional help to fix it! Page was amazing. After discussing the problem with me, she gave me appointment for the very next day. She was able to remove safely the red colour from my hair, and to do a beautiful dye, which I really loved, right after. She also did a professional treatment to my hair, leaving it soft and healthy, despite the fact it was so stressed. We have booked another session to do some dark contrasts, once my hair has rested a bit. I enjoyed tea during the process, and relaxed in a calm and friendly environment. Great value for money. I've known Paige for years, from working with her and getting to know her personally, she's an amazing person and very talented stylist. My hair is a nightmare to manage because of how curly it is, however that doesn't get in the way of Paige chemically straightening it and styling it! I had been looking for a great hairdresser in Edinburgh & chanced upon Paige Conner Hairdressing in Broughton Street in 2016. Recently though, I stupidly went to another salon with a voucher I received as a gift & they made such a mess of my hair. I was so upset & angry and I couldn’t & WOULDNT think of anyone else I trusted more to fix it than Paige... so, full of embarrassment & with my tail between my legs I called for an appointment. But I needn’t have worried, as Paige was so understanding & she thoroughly discussed my options & very carefully & effortlessly performed a literal miracle on bleached hair that had been ruined only 2 weeks earlier. Paige is such an attentive & friendly (not to mention patient) businesswoman & she has this knack of making you feel like you’re the most important client she has. I cannot recommend Paige & her staff highly enough. Booked a model appointment for a short bob with Aimee was 45 mins late due to traffic which I was so embarrassed about but the ladies where fine. Aimee was an absolute star from the min I walked in till I left feeling like a new woman they made me so welcome nothing was a problem professional attitude was great her confidence left me feeling so at ease.
