Certainly recommend, been coming regularly for ten years from Leeds. Relaxing, no frills, but all essentials and lovely owners.
Basic but very friendly campsite who's owner goes the extra to make you feel welcome
Great site, Andrew is friendly and helpful - showers are hot with plenty of space
Beautifully set in the old Aberlady Station, it is well situated to discover the best that East Lothian has to offer. The facilities are good and you get s very friendly welcome, and is in easy walking distance to the town centre, where there is a restaurant, post office, Golf Club and a Bowling Club. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely little caravan park on the site of the Old Aberlady railway station. Very quiet but only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Aberlady. Plenty facilities including hookups and a Bothy for the campers. We return here annually. More...
Very nice People in a nice Place.Toiletts ans showers old nur Clean.
Nice wee park, & friendly helpful staff
Lovely quiet family site. Very friendly and helpful owner.
A nice peaceful site where everyone greets you with a smile. A fantastic bothy for campers in tents And general facilities were perfectly adequate for a short break. 10 minutes walk to the village and a regular bus service running between North Berwick and Edinburgh . Nothing is too much trouble for Andrew or his helper . We intend to return soon More...

Nice place, very good showers, warden couldn't have been more helpful.
Spotlessly clean great equipment just a delightfull spa for dogs my daisy just loves it
Great site and friendly staff
This is a great touring base for South East Scotland. Nothing fancy and you'll need to juggle with 10 amps but Aberlady is just a 15 min walk away and has a shop and eateries. Drem station great for a quick train ride to Edinburgh More...
Beautiful setting. Helpful staff. Bothy has TV, kettle, fridge, microwave and cooking and washing facilities. Main toilet /shower block a little dated but kept clean. Smaller portacabin (unisex)2x toilets and 2x showers were nicer modern shower units . About 15 min walk into Aberlady. The old Aberlady Inn has a nice restaurant and separate pub area with out side garden. Good area for castles and wildlife walks. Numerous golf courses nearby. We would stay again. More...
I admit to writing this review reluctantly, as I would prefer to keep this little gem a secret.
I did, however, advise that I would provide comments on this campsite.
Small family run business since 1970's.
There is photographs & artwork detailing the history of this place which I found educational & fascinating.
Small site which despite being busy, did not feel overun. It is ideally located for exploring the east coast of Scotland, and local area.
It is popular with tourers & tenters and has large capacity for storage of caravans/motorhomes. An onsite service or repairs can be arranged while being stored.
The toilet block is brick made & basic, but kept spotlessly clean & is very functional with piping hot water.
The other usual facilities of water, electric, &chemical disposal & dishwashing are all as expected, however Aberlady has a unique feature of "The Bothy".
The bothy has EVERYTHING a traveller may require. Electric hob/microwave/toaster/ AND the crockery & cutlery if required/laundry machines/large fridge freezer/phone charging /mini library . It is also in here the photographic history is displayed.
Another unique facility is at on site dog grooming service. This is a genius idea which would persuade me to extend travels with the pooch in less clement seasons, knowing that a wet muddy dog could be cleaned & pampered upon return from walks.
There is , however, virtually nothing for children to do onsite. This is definitely not a holiday park/ leisure park, so be prepared to entertain your kids on day trips.
The site is managed by Andrew, who is most friendly & helpful. He also runs a reception shop with small selection of essential items. Andrew manages to speak with everyone staying, without being intrusive.
We stayed here for 3 nights in May. I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent onsite, and fully intend to return, especially as Aberlady is open all year. More...
Great wee site well worth a visit. 5mins from a very good Indian restaurant.
Very friendly and accommodating .
Quiet and secluded for a peaceful holiday. Easily travel to Edinburgh, North Berwick for outings. Haddington very close for grocery shopping.
Lovely peaceful site. Very friendly and helpful owner. Pet friendly.
More...
Great little caravan site, very pristine, very reasonable at £20 a night.Good location for seeing the sights of East Lothian and for visiting Edinburgh
Great location and good facilities! We had a little 2 man tent an it was perfect!
Good staffs but a bit expensive
Wunderbarer Campingplatz mit sehr freundlichem Besitzer, der einem jederzeit weiterhilft. Die sanitären Anlagen sind mal renervierungsbedürftig, aber alles andere stimmt.
Great owners make you very welcome
Excellent facilities and friendly atmosphere
Excellent. Warden met us on arrival. Gave us one of the best pitches. He even delivered some medical supplies which had been sent to the site for my partner. 5 minute drive to the beach & golf courses. Would highly recommend. 11/10. More...
