You have to go a long way to find a good, honest, reliable tradesman and I have just had the privilege of the services of one of them. Matthew Orchard sorted out my non working downstairs lighting quickly and efficiently. For some reason the boiler was on the same circuit, which it shouldnt have been! but it is now working!! We will shortly be replacing our old boiler and Matthew suggested he worked in conjunction with plumber to solve the problem of lights and boiler on same circuit.I cannot thank him enough - a really lovely man, very highly recommended. If you need the services of an electrician in the Colchester area, you could not do better than Matthew Orchard. He has just completed a full rewire for us and he has done a excellent job. He is conscientious, hard working, courteous and thoroughly honest. His prices are very fair and he consulted with us throughout the process. We had Orchard Electrical in to fix up an electrical supply to our double cellars including lights and mains sockets, and to replace our aged consumer unit. We were very impressed with the quality of work and the sheer tenacity of the guy when confronted with problems.
