This program was amazing me for me. The staff here was nothing short of special. They loved me until I was able to love myself and see that I was worth it. The has awesome groups and took us out on fun outings. I recommend opus to anyone who’s seeking recovery. I love this place so much. I have tried multiple different programs to get a happy healthy life and nothing really stuck until I came to opus. From the time I stepped through the doors the staff not only was loving and helpful but it was here that I saw my life was meant to be happy full of joy, and full of purpose. Opus Health saved my life!!! From the beginning of the intake thru the daily meditation and interacting with the Doctor & Staff on board, along with the owners I will be forever grateful. Their house that I stayed in for residential was top notch from the minute I walked thru the door. The meals were perfectly prepared with attention to detail with any dietary restrictions. I was completely blown away on the entire program with all staff involved.Not being from California, I had no idea what to expect. Opus Health saved my life and pointed me in the only direction that is a way of life. I grew up with addiction and alcoholism in my family. When it took my mother about 5 years ago it triggered a very slow and gradual downward spiral. I never felt like it was bad enough to make a massive change, until a series of events sent me over the edge.I felt like I couldn't trust anyone, especially myself. Fortunately Costa Mesa and the surrounding areas have one of the strongest recovery communities in the country, and I was able to get connected with Opus.One thing I love about Opus is that they really do care about helping people. A refreshing change- since past experiences with a few other places that shall not be named felt like little more than a cash grab.If Opus taught me anything, it's the importance of having the right support and people around you. That's true for ANYONE, but especially someone suffering from substance abuse problems. The staff is amazing and the facilities feel just like home, and if you go in with the right attitude you'll leave with a fresh perspective and hopefully a few meaningful relationships that last long after your 30/60/90/however many days you need to stand on your own two feet.
