I have been receiving treatment for headaches, indigestion knee and back pain. The last session was the best by far especially being shown a breathing technique for indigestion. I am still struggling with headaches but with his help they are reducing in intensity. It is also helpful that he doesn't judge my body and always checks if I am comfortable with the pressure. After a frustrating 6 months, hoping a foot issue would correct itself, i decided I'd go and book a consultation to see if a professional could point me in the right direction. I booked in with Alan, who not only gave me the initial consultation on the spot, but also my first course of treatment, along with a plan of stretches to be doing at home. After 3 sessions, I have confidence in my foot again and the issue is definitely on the mend. My recovery has been tailored specifically to my issue, so new, more challenging exercises have been added along the way. These were not something I'd have ever thought to do myself, so I am equal parts glad I went to see Alan, along with equal parts annoyed i waited 6 months to do so. I fell in work and badly hurt my knee and after a few weeks it was clear there was to be no more help from my GP so I decided to look for an Osteopath to see if I could get some help as I knew my knee still wasnt right. I saw there was one right near where I live and lucky for me it turned out to be Alan. He told me what the cause of my pain was after doing a few tests, and how long it would take me to get back playing. I have suffered from a bad knee for many years and have been unable to do any sports of any kind due to the pain in that area. Wow, how fortunate i was to stumble over Alan's clinic (literally walking past) - he was good enough to see me same day. Having seen many osteo's and chiro in oz and uk over last 25 years, Alan has literally broken the old mould. Having suffered back pain for many years and having a recent shoulder injury, Alan is addressing a range of issues for me. Don't be fooled by his relative youth - this guy know's his stuff and is like an old osteo in a younger body, and new school approach of transparency, education and is not a wham-bam manipulation osteo. I was 30 weeks pregnant and I went to see Alan about the shooting pain I had in my lower back and down my leg. Although I was put on the waiting list with the midwife to see someone, I couldn’t wait as the pain was getting worse on a daily basis. Wuth the help of google, I found Alan! He is a very nice guy and after a conseltation, he began treatment which was very effective-not straight away, but within 3 to 4 days the pain had completly gone!
