A lovely family firm giving a personal, prompt and reliable service, and they'll neatly stack your logs for you. If you find somewhere cheaper you will probably end up with inferior wood that doesn't burn so well.

Jim, sometimes along with other hard-working but amazingly cheerful family members, has been supplying and stacking our logs for the past 8 years or so. Jim is such an obliging chap; nothing is too much trouble for him. He knows I'm no lumberjack and ensures that our logs are the right size for our wood burner. When I do weald an axe for some fire starters, the logs are clean and easy to split. They are dry, well seasoned, and burn beautifully, leaving very little residue on the glass doors, which is a blessing, as I'm no Cinderella either! So log on to Jim, or give him a ring! More...

One Man and His Log are a complete godsend. The delivery and stacking service makes everything so easy. We no longer have to ensure the delivery comes at weekends, nor does it matter that we don't have a drive or front garden.
