My bike needed an emergency repair while I was out on long ride. The guys were amazingly helpful and friendly, especially as I just turned up out of the blue on a Saturday afternoon. Rented a deluxe road bike for 3 days. Better value (cost, bike quality) than my experience in Monterrey CA and Vancouver. Emailed close of business one day, they emailed back first thing next day, and had bike ready 1 hour later when I arrived . Locked bike outside, so they gave me 2 locks, bike was safe. I've been a customer here for over a year now, and it's great to see a family-run quality bike shop that's local again in East Grinstead. I've had various stuff done to my bike, each time it's been dealt with very quickly and back on the road again in no time. Michelle, Robert and the team are great and friendly to deal with. The most appreciative thing I must say is when I was rescued by Robert, after a bad mishap on black-ice near his home, some friends I was with called him and he drove over, picked up my bike and took me to the hospital. I'd split my chin open and lost a bit of blood and had to get a good few stitches! He even offered to pick me up afterwards from hospital but my wife was able to help by then. The Shop checked out my bike for repairs (snapped shifter, bent hanger) and sorted it all out for me and gave me a good discount on top! No bike shop I have ever dealt with has given me this much friendly service! Need I say more? So a massive thanks and shout-out to "On Your Bike", East Grinstead! :-) More...

After visiting a large no of cycle shops I saw "on your bike" shop whilst out working. I decided to take a closer look as I fancied a new bike as an upgrade. The shop is well stocked with first class cycles and equipment covering a large range of bikes. I was immediately made welcome and offered drinks by Michelle. All my questions were answered in depth. Test rides were available. The only thing missing was "the hard sell". All the staff appeared to be more interested in having a satisfied customer more than just a sale. On my second visit. It was much the same. So now with my brother. We ordered 2 bikes. When they were delivered to the shop. they were properly setup and checked by the onsite technicians. A test ride was given with any adjustments made. As I left I was told. Any problems just ring or bring your bike in.
As I say nothing was too much trouble. I have now riden a good no of trouble free miles and it was time for my free service. I booked this and it was arranged at the weekend. As I couldn't do weekdays. I took it in and was told it would be done whilst I waited. Again I was given free drinks and had good conversation about cycling whilst waiting. I am so impressed with this shop. Retaining the old fashioned values and ensuring the customer is happy. But most of all this shop has both. A knowledgeable salesperson (Michelle) and a first class service section where the staff not only do a first class job. But know exactly how to do it. If your looking for a bike. This is the place.

Unusual but beautiful business model. Upon entry and vaguely mentioned we might want to hire a couple of bikes, very late notice. .first order of business was an invite to the couch aittdiwn and a good coffee and awesome chocolate cake.

Everyone is so helpful and personable that saying ' no I'm good thanks' was often.

Also seems they employ quite a few younger staff and train them well, and a few of us oldies with the experience!!!

Good range of bikes, lollies on the counters, and other biking stuff.

I had a puncture down the road from this shop so my other half rode there and was then going to ride back to fix it. But when he explained what happened the staff kindly offered to give him a lift and come pick me and my bike up.
Once back at the shop we were offered water and biscuits whilst they fixed my tyre.
Very nice people and great atmosphere!

If I needed any bike kit and lived in the area this definitely where I would go. More...

I have been off my road bike for 2 years and wanted help to get back on it and start to enjoy riding again. The special service received and customer engagement throughout this process was brilliant. I went to the store on numerous occasions and every time, every staff member was very helpful. Also the coffee is wonderful.
