Finally, a sports bar that is focussed on just that... Sports. New management and a major refurb on going which looks like it could be amazing. Money spent on quality snooker and pool tables, sports on the tv, and a decent selection of beers and spirits. Friendly staff open to suggestion and dedicated to attracting customers who are sports fans rather than looking for the bolt hole away from pubwatch that this bar used to be under the former owners. Was in town for the Northampton-Charlton match and we popped in for a quick drink and a few games of pool before the match. The management were very kind and friendly let us play as non-members and the pool tables and facilites were in great condition. Highly recommended. More...
