You know it saddens, disappoints , bemuses and infuriates me that you invite these Strangers into YOUR home, to offer them work, and to pay them well. ...You wait for a quote, and you still wait for a quote....so you message these Strangers who you don't know from Adam but who have traipsed all over your Private Property....only to realise they CAN'T BE ARSED messaging you back !!!! They must be that busy traipsing through other Non Customers homes promising nothing, or they like their own version of Through The Keyhole, I'm baffled as to how they can advertise their services at all !! The worst experience possible . Curtis immediately asked for 90gbp for materials as he only uses the best materials and estimated the job to be completed in three days.
By day three he had not finished and wanted more money. Unfortunately I gave him an additional 220gbp, and he promised to return in between the other job and finish off the work. I didn't return to the empty property for two days , but when I did I found the central heating had been left on at 25c . A neighbour told me that after Curtis had gone they noticed that all the windows were wide open. Fortunately they were able to push them nearly closed. My freshly plastered 24' ceiling and wall had cracked due to the extreme heat and wet paint.
The entire room, living ,dining and kitchen were in a very bad state . There were empty food and drinks containers on the floor and kitchen worktops, paint tray, still containing roller brushes and paint.
Curtis has cost me a lot of money to put things right , and thats on top of the money I paid him in good faith.
He won't answer my calls or acknowledge my messages.
I don't rate Curtis , but you have to.

What a load of nonsense if the livingroom was in a state why would you pay me £220 ? And as for the £90 it was for materials as I told you Alan you are just very unhappy as I refused to come back and paint the 8 doors that should of been on when the job was started and by day 3 they still wasn’t on you’re wife spoke to me and he labourer with a terrible attitude so I told you to pay me part of the money and we would not be coming back as for the plaster cracking it had been drying for 2 weeks as you told me so you’re plaster cracking is not my problem the correct measures had been taken the plaster had been Mis coated then painted so I can’t understand you’re problem no one gets paid for a bad job so the fact you paid us part of the money says something I have pictures of the job when we left and there was nothing wrong with the work I have recently found out I am the second person this man has not paid in full he’s a con man and try’s to get something for nothing
