What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Patience. Wedding photography is in very large part photojournalism. It is easy to take a picture but it takes patience to wait for the genuine emotion to happen in that frame. Those are the photographs that I want to take. Not just a picture of so and so to document that they were there but I wait for that moment when they are expressing their deepest emotions so that you can remember those moments clearly.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
A large portion of what I do is maternity and newborn.
When a client first contacts me I make sure to ask them about their due date, their goals, their possible medical restrictions and their family Dynamics.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating beautiful images and helping my clients place artwork in their homes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A desire to spend more time with my young children.

I have a studio in Princeton as well as a country location near Foreston.
Clients that wish for a custom location pay a special fee. Scheduling sessions at my location in foreston and at my studio allow me to potentially schedule sessions back to back while scheduling sessions for custom locations prevents me from doing so.
