Nic was not my wedding photographer, a fact I will regret forever. As luck would have it however, Nic ended up being contracted out as a second photographer by my wedding photographer, which ended up being the wonderful fluke that saved my wedding day, or at least my memories of the day. My beautiful wedding took place in August of 2017, everything went seemingly perfect… except at least half of the photographs I was promised from my photographer of the day had seemingly vanished and my photographer himself also disappeared. By no fault or knowledge of Nic’s, none of the photos that he provided to my photographer were given to me - and I made the silly mistake of only finding out his first name and finding the right “Nic” (and I spelled it “Nick” for a long time) who is a photographer in Wisconsin was a bit like finding a needle in a haystack, finally though - almost 2.5 years after my wedding, I found him. Nic was SO KIND, helpful, prompt and apologetic- despite literally NONE of the debacle being his fault. He explained that he gave a hard copy of all my photos to my photographer after my wedding but kept backups of them “on the cloud” so to speak, within hours of me contacting him I had ALL OF MY PICTURES and asked NOTHING in return. Nic is clearly a person who believes in love, that was so evident in every photograph he took, he also is honest- an attribute I took for granted when I hired my main photographer, and finally, Nic is genuinely kind and wants to see people happy. Two and a half years after my wedding the only thing I would change about that day is that I didn’t hire Nic to be my main photographer- don’t just take my word for it though, meet with him and you will understand that he is a beautiful soul with a genuine appreciation for love and a gift of capturing it with his camera. We first went to Nic to get some family photos done. Several members of the family including myself hate to get our pictures taken but Nic made the process easy and the final product turned out great. I actually had another photographer booked, and was just not happy. My DJ, and videographer recommended Nic , and boy am I glad they did. Right away he talked to me on the phone, didnt pressure me.
