Food was lovely and the staff were fantastic, the land lady was brilliant with our 18 month old son and made us feel very welcome.
I would definitely recommend this pub if you’re in the local area, cosy, warm and lovely food. Also a great selection of lager/cider on tap!

Great atmosphere great food great service.
Laid on a great spread for a baby shower for a close friend. Couldn’t of asked for anything more.

We moved into this area and found that this pub is the best local you could wish for! They keep their beers very well, never a bad pint - we love real ales. They have a good wine list and the food is always good too. They usually have an interesting menu. We enjoy the ambience here, feel really fortunate to have found the jewel that is the New Harp. Had the steak pie and steak and both used very fine meat extremely well handled with correct seasoning and the veg perfectly cooked. I am a foodie and for the price expected hideous packet gravy, but all properly made and I will go again. I would recommend to anyone who likes real food. More...

Myself and three others arrived late on Friday evening last food orders had been taken, the staff were so hospitable they located us seating and even cooked specially for us, we are so thankfull and strongly recommend and will return in the summer.
