My son has been taking lessons from Miss Suzanne, the violin instructor, for two years. She has raised his performance level to where he plays in his middle school's top orchestra. Suzanne demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in her instruction. She grounds the student in a proper technical foundation and infuses it with the necessary musicality to produce the optimal result. While I have never played professionally, I played violin in my college orchestra so I have familiarity with professional standards of instruction.The staff is efficient and courteous when it comes to billing and scheduling matters. We took their music class for babies with Kristin and absolutely loved it. The staff are kind, thoughtful and creative and I bonded with the other parents and babies in our class. Very peaceful environment. Each and every one of the teachers is excellent and genuinely cares about the progress and well-being of their students. I took piano lessons from Carolyn for several years and guitar lessons from Ken for a summer. Both experiences were very positive and I feel like I learned a lot. I had to stop taking lessons because I became very busy, but I know exactly where to go should ever choose to take music lessons again. More...

This review is for the Kindermusik class at NMS, Arcadia. We had a wonderful experience during the summer, our two year old that was about to be three when we got the class enjoyed it so much. Miss Ki and her staff is so professional and you can tell they care for their kids and they do their best to involved them with the songs and activities, it is really fun!!. The class teach the kids through the music to interact with their environment and observe. We liked the fact we can also use the material at home online and sing the songs. My kids have been taking lessons at this school for approximately 6 years and it has been a great experience all around.  The staff is wonderful and the teachers are all so great with the kids.  Amy and Debra at the front are always ready to help you.  Jiaxin is my daughter's piano teacher and Perfecto teaches my son guitar.  They are both great!  My kids love them and are learning a lot. This review is for the kindermusik class taught at this location.My kids aged 2 and 4 have been attending this class for a couple of months now and they throughly enjoyed it.  This class has taught them a lot more than just music.  They have learnt to listen, focus, share and cooperate with the other kids.A special mention to the teacher ms Ki for bringing out the best in my kids.I would highly recommend parents to send their young kids to this class. I have been hacking away at the guitar and drums since college and decided I was going to take my 6 year old twins to learn instruments.  One son started guitar with Perfecto and the other son took drums with Peter.  I thought so much of both instructors that I even took some lessons as well.  The teachers are amazing at this school.  Amy is super helpful at the front desk and Carolyn the owner has assembled truly skilled musicians/instructors.  I will be forever thankful to this school, the owner and Perfecto and Peter for their patience and the wonderful learning environment that they provided.  I am not thankful that my 9 year olds constantly point out that they are better than me. I have been sending my son here for a few month now for violin lessons.  The owner Carolyn is extremely friendly and easy to work with.  The interior design of this place is not the greatest in the world, however they offer a large selection of musical instruments and music scores.  My child feels at home here.  The music instructors are fun, well educated and extremely friendly. My daughter has been taking piano with Carolyn for a while now and is advancing very nicely.  Her playing has matured significantly.  Carolyn is very knowledgeable about piano and theory.  I'm amazed at the wide range of instrumental and voice lessons offered. What a nice place to discover just south of Huntington in the heart of downtown; music instrument lessons by day and fun weekly Friday night concerts by a nice mix of talented local musicians and sometimes their students.
