Natures Artisan built a larger scale patio for us including; a fireplace , fountain, gardens, sitting walls and lighting. It was a harsh wet season when the job was going on . Justin and his crew stayed at it until it's completion and made sure we were satisfied before leaving. An honest and professional company to do business with. He did what he said he would do withour having to ask or be reminded. Very nice people.

Bossemeyer ~ Woodland Oasis 2015- 2016

Every time Bill and I walk out into our backyard, we marvel at what it has become thanks to you! When we decided to landscape the backyard, it was mostly a steeply sloping hill. There weren't many plants except for trees, a few rhododendrons, some perennials and lots of weeds. Peg spent years trying to turn it into the lush butterfly, bee and hummer friendly garden like the one you and your crew developed over the past year.

The changes we see as the seasons pass are remarkable - plants emerge, buds open and butterflies arrive. Every meal or walk is an adventure enjoying all of the newest plant and animal visitors. Your knowledge of native plant communities, special host plants and horticulture allows us to truly enjoy a four-season delight.

We really appreciate that you cared as much about saving our original plants as adding new ones and that you rescued so many of them - even my Queen Anne's Lace from the edge of the driveway! Thank you for listening to all of our questions and requests and for giving us your expert advice. We realize, sometimes after the fact, that your advice is coming from your years of experience in the field. (No more stilt grass sounds wonderful!)

The cooperative planning and integrated design work that went in to the hardscaping of our walkways, walls and terraces was also really appreciated. We enjoyed being part of the extensive preparation from the first visits to local quarries to choose native boulders and stones to the variety of patterns you described for the walkways, terraces and walls. Your expertise made each area unique and beautiful!

All of the terraces and walkways were carefully designed to complement the area for which they were planned. The curved back walkway meanders around our gardens and borders the linear stone design of the upper terrace. The lower terrace is curved perfectly to complement the lower gardens. One of our favorite details - the lit alcoves in the lower terrace wall look spectacular! Everything down to the large stones especially chosen for the steps to the sunken patio suit its rustic quality perfectly.

One of the many relaxing parts of this Woodland Oasis is our waterfall. Your suggestion for the construction of this water feature was perfect. Travis Dietle of Arbor Ridge Services designed a waterfall so realistic we can’t believe it wasn’t always here. The ethereal plants surrounding the falls subtly enhance its magical quality.

We are very grateful that our paths crossed again last spring and we were able to have you design and make our dream yard come to life. It is your vision, love and expertise with plants and nature that created our woodland oasis. Thank you for continuing to help us to nurture our new breathtaking personal wildlife sanctuary.

We can hardly even remember what our old yard used to look like.

Justin has done several landscaping projects for me, large to small. He is a thoughtful designer who is attentive to his client's ideas. If you are looking for eco-friendly design using primarily, native perennials, shrubs and trees, Justin can turn your ideas into a lush garden. He is very open to suggestions and I found his selection of plant material to be exactly what I wanted, even when I didn't know exactly what I wanted. We've used Nature's Artisans on two projects now. The first was a spruce up of our front walkway and entrance. Justin brought forward a number of great ideas to enhance the curb appeal. He even leveraged existing hardscape and planting material to save us money. Since then we've used the company again for a major redesign of our backyard. Justin and Nature's Artisans have done several large jobs for me and each one has been done with precision and thought. Justin has great ideas but is also willing to listen to his clients ideas.
