Taz and Shen are an absolute joy to work with, from the additional pieces of advice offered, no question being too silly, to genuinely being excited and interested in our short film, Chinatown London, which they distributed for us on Amazon Prime.

Short distribution illustrates to Directors, investors etc how serious we are in pushing our short to feature and the Amazon (and the linked IMDB) analytics/reviews are hugely beneficial to us in ensuring our creative approach and audience targeting.

I have been approached by several distributors and aggregators over the years for my films.

I turned them all down. Were obviously in this new age where you can self distribute, so I really wasn’t interested in distribution deals for my self made films. Unless I came across a pretty special team. Well, I found that team when I connected with My Spotlight Independent.

I approached Taz, and I’m glad I did. Taz and Shen offered a very fair deal, and they made the delivery workflow very easy for me. I don’t come across many “offers I can’t refuse!”

The open communication and transparency also made it for easy for me to partner with them. It really does feel like a partnership with them.
