We ordered a dining table from My Italian Living and, without being able to see the finished product, were reliant on the sales team for guidance on finishes etc. Dovile was extremely helpful and sent through samples very quickly and answered our many questions patiently! Once ordered, we were kept informed of delivery times etc by Jelani who was also very helpful. The table arrived and was quickly assembled by the delivery team. The service i received from italianliving was next to nothing. I ordered my table which i have to say was at an amazing price compared to the market. Very stylish simple dining table. I will list what excellent service i received 1) i wanted to order the table with white legs but they did not have a picture online with white legs. i contacted the team at italianliving by telephone and they emailed me a picture, informed me of what material it was made of. 2) they kept me abreast of the timeframe for when my table was going to be delivered. When they were told of a delay they called me and emailed me to inform me as to whether i still wanted to continue with the order which was great. I informed them that i did but that as i was disappointed that i would have to wait another month or so and i asked them that i could wait on the agreement that they deliver the table to my front door. Jelani who i spoke to and emailed was nothing but appreciative that i still wanted the table and they offered to not only deliver it to my door but also have it put together by the delivery man. 3) the table was delivered to me at a time which was convenient for myself and the delivery man was very good, he came in to my flat, took off his shoes at my kind request and set up the table in no time. 4) and the table is absolutely amazing, the quality is to a high level and i am soon pleased with it. I recently carried out extensive work in my house at the same time changing from rather dated papered walls to more contemporary painted plaster wallsAs part of the upstairs revamp I decided I would like to change the style of my beds from wooden-frame to wrought-iron frame but struggled to see anything suitably inspiring in the showrooms I visited locally. Having bought furniture online before with other companies, I was a little sceptical about doing it again, but My Italian Living have restored my faith! The website was very informative and easy to use. The lady who answered was extremely friendly and helpful, offering loads of information about the furniture, she obviously knows her stuff! Furniture arrived on the day agreed and everything looked good when it arrived. A couples of days after delivery I noticed a small piece of wood had splintered on one of the bedside cabinets legs , caused during the delivery process. As my old sofa decided it couldn't take any more and finally died, i dreaded the thought of trawling through superstore after superstore for a new sofa, that I would no doubt hate within a year. As i was researching online i came across the My Italian living website and suddenly i was far more excited about what i could get. It all seemed a bit too good to be true initially as I had seen similar sofas elsewhere at a FAR higher price. I’ve been looking at replacing bedroom furniture in three rooms in my house and identified some brilliant products from this company. I’ve not placed an order yet because it’s a big purchase and needs careful planning. However, I’ve had a number of calls with their excellent sales designer. She has been very patient with me and is clearly a professional with a good technical knowledge of the product range and design possibilities and not pushy in any way. I was a little anxious about ordering online, especially as the item I wanted was quite expensive. I did check out the site and there were good reviews, so I went ahead. Everything was very easy; I telephoned the office in London, was sent a sample, to match colour; this was useful and I did then order. The process went smoothly, all the details were clear and the delivery was earlier than the date given. The delivery men were efficient, helpful and ensured all was well before leaving. I was looking for a cradle for my newborn baby , I wanted something that is bigger than a Moses basket and maybe with some convertible options so we decided to purchase the Tribeca cradle by Hugs Factory . I initially requested a couple of samples of fabric for a new sofa which arrived promptly. I ordered my preferred option and was kept fully up to date with the order progress. In short everything undertaken by Myitalialiving was excellent. However, the same cannot be said for their delivery company. My delivery was put back twice so arrived 2 days later than promised. This is very annoying when you are given a delivery day, only to receive an email very late in the afternoon of that day, telling you that they cannot deliver as promised. I came across this website why looking to buy a metal bed frame manufactured by an Italian company. I had reservations not having bought any item that cost as much online before.
