We employed Lucy to undertake photography at our factory-office. She was delightful to work with, had a real creative eye in capturing some wonderful photos of our studio, print and finishing rooms. She also took lots of 'detail shots' that have been great for illustrating different production processes in our social media campaigns

Lucy also took photographs of all our staff - group and individuals - that have been used on our website. Her care in making sure everyone was relaxed meant that we have a fabulous selection to use now and in the future.

Shortly after moving into a Boston apartment with my now fiance, he was given the opportunity to work in London for three months during the summer of 2013. He had planned to propose during the time that he would be away, so he changed his plans and popped the question one week before his departure. As exciting as it was to be engaged, it was a tease since the next time we would see each other was two months later when I planned to visit him. Though none of this was part of how we saw our engagement playing out, it posed a great opportunity for us - to have our engagement photo shoot in London! We researched photographers online and finally found someone who seemed to fit our personalities and aesthetic. Lucy could not have been a better fit. She was cheery, professional and creative. Not only did she direct us for most of the shoot, she had an eye for finding hidden gems within our shoot layout. To bring home a true London feel, we decided to have a semi formal shoot take place in the Queen's Gardens at Regent's Park then later change to a more casual style. By the end of the shoot we had photos with the underground train aka "The Tube", a classic red double-decker bus, the mews and a few pints and a game of cards at a traditional London pub. We wanted to know that our own touch could be seen in every photo and Lucy did just that while also accentuating what beautiful and unique London had to offer. Ms. Lucy Williams is not a ‘wedding photographer’. In fact, she is a storyteller, par excellence. We wanted someone who would do more than merely record the day, but evoke the spirit and atmosphere of our wedding. Also, we knew that Lucy’s reportage style would complement our plan for the wedding, which we intended to be informal, relaxed and, above all, fun. Our wedding had a Regency theme, and we knew that Lucy would be as keen as us to capture every carefully commissioned detail - the rings, the flowers, the Bride being laced into her corset. The end result was less a series of photos, more a little movie made into stills. Lucy’s profound technical photographic knowledge and experience of the moving image surely contributed to a collection of photographs that has been a joy to share. We had already witnessed Lucy in action once before, and subsequently already seen just how good she is at her job. She organised a pre-wedding session with us so we could get comfortable with her and with the camera, so we had a really good idea that we'd made the right decision before the big day. That being said, it's not until your own wedding day that you truly appreciate the consummate professional that she is. Our one wish for our wedding photos was that they didn't look like we spent the whole day posing, and the way Lucy works eliminates any chance of this happening. She has a certain way with a camera that captures all the vibrancy and life of the moment, without the subject even knowing she's there. She is absolutely passionate about delivering the best product possible, yet she doesn't allow herself to get in the way. She prides herself on being as inconspicuous as possible. She's there. She's taking photos. Amazing photos! And she doesn't stop until she gets the perfect representation of each and every moment.She works incredibly well with all the other suppliers that you need at a wedding. She worked particularly well with our videographer. They worked together like a team that had been together for years, making suggestions for each other and helping out where necessary. It was fantastic and it showed in the final product from both of them.We could not recommend Lucy any more highly. If you want to be able to remember your wedding the way it happened, every photo she takes will capture that feeling and send you right back to that moment when you view them.
